What the heck?...what on earth was that?...the domination of North Carolina in the 1st half of the Champ game...up by 15...and breezing...the Kansas (CITY?) Jayhawks, perfectly miserable shooting...clanging LAY INS in insurmountable terms...either affected by the gimpy legged Tar Heel center, or just plain choking...whatever, it looked like a rout in the making...
However, out came the re-energized Jayhawks...running, playing smothering D, and finally...making some shots...couple that with the wearing down of the North Carolina guys...with all the cash these teams dole out...ha ha...via the scholarship route, of course...why oh why, aren't they 8 or 9 deep?...the game turned...as did the score...and from the 10 minute mark...it was all even...

Ponder this...when I was a teaching way back when...a student got in a 4 wheeler accident, was paralyzed from the waist down...would not walk again...we were called in and advised to not encourage him to think that he would ever walk again, as that was his dream...I thought at the time, how cruel that was...coming from a counselor/psychologist...my mind wandered, if he tried to find a way, isn't that going to keep him going?...not give up?...maybe I was wrong...but, as you can see, it still bothers me...am I right or wrong?...
