Minus One


For most of us, in my generation...either you hate or lurve this iconic golfing model...Tiger Woods...as per usual, STARS have unusual private lives...there is no perfection, kids...sorry, I know you want that, but it doesn't exist...soooo, let's concentrate on the golf...in his first time back to competitive golf, Tiger shot a MINUS ONE at the Masters...after a near crippling car accident some 14-17 months ago...he returned...who on earth can do this?...somebody who is extremely driven....and, he is 4 back starting round 2...will he win?...shoot, I dunno....but the fact that he is playing, in contention, boggles me mind...as the golfing world pays attention...is this a comeback of all time?...

Speaking of comebacks...or give aways...opening day for MLB...and the mighty (or pathetic) Padres...in Arizona...as the starting pitcher for the Friars, Yu, threw 6 hitless innings...the relief corps held on until...closer time...and hear me...it was perfectly awful...the temporary closer walked the first 2 guys he faced...then hit the next one...and the bases were loaded for the bad guys...no outs, duh...so the new manager, finally gets his arse out to the mound...removes said bad chucker...and adds a vet to the fray, who, in the past, has given up many a dinger...true dat...his first pitch?...a wild one, that allowed one run in...the next pitch?...a home run to give away the game....yes, we are not happy...GM AJ broke camp with no solid closer...who does that?...imagine the bus ride back to the hotel...there goes the undefeated season...161 to go...

The coronation...well, Ms. Jackson did get the nod for SCOTUS...congratulations!....53-47, was the vote...as 3 Repub Senators crossed over and defied the block...

The Putin War...still in the works...just different parts of Ukraine...not so sure that he isn't going to get out...this is all guess, but I think that the Kremlin might want some explanations from him...the sanctions are hurting badly, the Russian way of life back home....stay tuned to this...of course, I may be wrong...

Of all things, when do we see the end of the price gauging for petrol?...no now has it worse than Cali...we have tax on tax for it...often over a buck 70 over everyone else...c'mon politicians, do your work...

We did the Kramerica Tour yesterday...to borrow the Beatles 'Here, There, and Everywhere'...ie to Coronado and the Hotel Del...and yes, we had mini Snickers on the trip...and we did traverse the Coronado Bridge, back...the Boss Lady at the helm...the bad part?...going back at 3, when all the military are going home...bumper to bumper...slow...and some gal driver stalled her rig...not so good...the narrative was worthy of a tip. but nope...

Yes, Coach Nolz, there is a lot of commotion directed towards Tiger...there is this button on your Tele that lets you CHANGE the channel...another to MUTE...but yes, the bulk of the hoopla has to do with him, as he perseveres...

Just watched the acceptance of Ms. Jackson as the newest SCOTUS member...that is the way these things should. be handled...thinking back to the bizarre donny style...we are back, baby...

The heat wave is here for one more day....a dip in the pool is on the agenda...84* right now...(10 am)...

USD, ah, the University of San Diego...long time mired in mediocrity in hoops...at best...just hired an old UCLA HC, in Steve Lavin...hmmm...did not know he was only 57...been doing analyst work for some time...on the tele...I find this a good move and interesting...can he recruit kids there?...as that is the key to success...

The Masters...looks like the morning round, the players are falling back....hmmm...-3 is the lead score...Tiger is in the 2nd session...oops, sorry Coach Gregger...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
