The Will of the People?

Mired in a very lengthy campaign, of death and destruction...Putin's war against the Ukraine...his latest?...a bombing of an art school...housed reportedly 400...when will this end?...as we, on a daily basis, read about the atrocities of this inhumane man...which makes me wonder out loud, is this The Will of the People of Russia?...or is this the abhorrent needs of a ruthless leader?...self gratification of a most sinister mind...if the Russian people say NO!...then they need to act quickly...save what can be saved...as they are in the midst of a person gone berserk...that will only get worse...

Moving on...

So very odd, that while we were watching the flick 'Mare of Easttown'...well, it is a series on HBO Max...starring Kate Winslet...the chirping of one of our smoke detectors went off!...ha ha...odd, of course, as I led with the battery thang in a blog entry a few days back...up the ladder and replaced the 9V one...dang it all, we were just at Costco, and do need a pack of them type...hey, it's like an Easter egg hunt, trying to find which smoke detector is the culprit, right?...

Mysterious ways of the Big Dance...as my new fav, and 15th seeded Saint Peter's...won again and is in the sweet sixteen...listen, it is a school of about 2,000 in Jersey...competing against the big boy schools...Cinderella...the Zags got a huge scare from Memphis, but got the W...and the hot shooting UNC went to OT to beat last year's champ, Baylor...Mich St vs Duke today...5 star...

Awakened this am, like very early...1:30...as there was this very odd sound rustling about outside...man, if it weren't this stuff, that looked like and sounded like...gulp...rain drops!...had to scurry out to the back deck and take the cushions off the chairs...guess I need to read the weather app a bit closer...BTW, which one do you use?...I like the colorful Yahoo one...

In the Ladies T, the Ducks fell to Belmont in 2 OT's and now...JCC...sorry, but I am being honest...well, if UConn wins I might gander a bit...

I see that Ye is banned from performing at the Grammy's...cuz of his spat with KK's boy toy, Pete Davidson...it's always such a good show (not)....well, let's hope they are all there anyhoo...you know, just for the playful interaction of the 3...

For all of youse who read me, not ONE has told me what the heck WORDLE is...not one...is it a secret club or something?...shhhh, don't tell anyone...is there a code?...

Your star of stars, LeBron has moved up the ladder of all time scorers in the NBA...longevity has a lot to do with this...and talent...duh...but his team, keeps right on a losing...this time to the lowly Wizards...maybe I should be calling the Lake Show, the lowly LaLa losers...

Speaking of the Bums, with their latest addition of Freddie Freeman, they NOW have a bigger payroll than the entire Kardashian family...but it is close...

The outspoken Rep Congressional, Lauren Boebert...from Colorado...you might know her as one who booed Prez B at his State of the Union address...along with the Greene gal...a pair to draw to...did not graduate from high school...well, many (some) famous actors have done the same thing...she don't need no edyoucation...

Did donny say, or not say, that Ukraine was "the third most corrupt country in the world"????...yes...

Boz is coming back to San Diego...June...and the Horse got tix yesterday...he is performing out at Humphreys...16th row...good end seats...nice...I see a few days later is going to Fantasy Springs and doing a gig there...too...if you are in the area, he is a can't miss, kids...

I still have some Southwest Air tix I have to use...must set up a flight soon...not sure where to go...Nashville?...we need to decide...

Finally, in our never ending search for the perfect cooking device for Cosmo...we got a Betty Crockers Pizza Oven...no kidding, she still exists...which can cook many thangs...well, tonight we start with a home made pizza...if it doesn't do pizza, then what the heck?...then, try a frozen one...the tests are on...

Good morning all, from the great state of Oregon...this whole trip is about FRIENDS!...meeting up with peops we have been with over our years in the PNW...and for Boss's reunion....the opening act was a combo party of the two at this pad, a bar, called Johnny's...simply said, it was fun... The stories were there, the faces remained the same...and it tickled moi, that so many FRIENDS showed up...unfortunately, I did not get enough time to talk to all, please forgive me...when you go back some 60 years, my memory does fade a tad...well, and so does their's...ha ha...believe me, it was worth the trip... Boss was one of the belles of the ball...yes, she still looks great...you know that....well, the rest of her class did not know that, until last eve...she was flitting (flirting) about so...which made me smile...and that is only the beginning of it...the REAL reunion is tonight...one of my FRIENDS reminded me that is the gals reunion...which I think is most reunions...it is for...

When the thesaurus ran it's new version...it highlighted the word 'oration'...and there it was ... President Barack Obama...and then there is more..... see...Michelle Obama ...these two have the fundamental prowess of giving speeches...at the right time...at the right place... No better example of this, than last night at the DNC...each were marvelous...of course ...it's what people, special people, like these two...do...carry a message across the Nation...that we all can not only understand, but agree with... For seemingly years, the Horse has said...that if Michelle O wanted to be in the White House, AGAIN...this time as the President, and not the wife...she could ...however, for right now...she is supporting the right choice...for this time of the history of our country....
