The Casualties of War

The faulty needs of leadership...it is a disastrous recurrence over time...let's be clear...over and over...and over...at the mercy of the common man and woman...and child...when they pencil in the desire to strike another person's homeland...for their own gratification...at all costs...the destruction...the loss of lives...the use of a young military for their personal gains...the list of those who have done this...fills the history books...

The latest, is Putin...and now...the rest of the World is at stake...I can't think back when the countries have filled the airwaves with more rebuttals than right now...perhaps, WWII...but, the news system was so sketchy then...now, it is instant...and filled with video and photographs...and Putin is doing his dangest to scare everyone...with a nuclear war...

Is this the direction we are headed?...as I repeat myself...to be clear...we are just as fortified with the nuclear armament that they are...his FEAR CAMPAIGN only goes so far...but, look at what I am saying...it is not the people of Russia who have these thoughts...it is their 'leadership'...as their country is filled with demonstrations, too...

I am rambling on...yes...but the 23 sources today are announcing...ah, BREAKING NEWS...that the oil from Russia has been shut off to the USA...of course, the people, the Americans, have been inundated with high petrol prices at the pump...rumor mill, is that the talks with those who have been selling the oil...are increasing their numbers to us...

Yet, all of this need not be...if it not for the faulty leadership of Putin...fingers crossed that the country, Russia, comes to their senses...before it is too late...replaces the evil dictator that they are saddled with...

Since the MLB has been locked out by the greedy owners...guess which side I am on?...and the NFL is done for awhile...the headlines are on the NBA...this is the Pro stuff...and we (they) are in the testy times of the season...tempers flare...players and coaches get tossed...as the teams that are in the playoff hunt, get real aware of where they stand...and those who are not, don't give a whistle if they get ejected...

One such example...is doing the no-no of all...talking to the crowd...fans, ha ha...LeBron does it..and gets people ejected...for harassing him...lord...just yesterday, Russ Westbrook did...as he is fed up with the chants 'Westbrick'...yea, so...can't tell you how many times I see the F bomb screamed out by him...but, it is often...goes with the territory, dude...I recall one of my old coaches tell me "if you listen and react to what the fans say, you will be soon one of them"...

This is 'International Women's Day'...don't take this wrong, lady readers...but, I thought this was EVERY day...you know, if we had more Women Presidents, we probably would have much better leadership...or, Women Dictators, or whatever they are called outside of democracy...and wait...it is also 'Be Nasty Day'...let's be clear, there is no correlation between the two special days...

The ACM's...country awards, again...by accident, we found this on Amazon Prime...live stream with virtually NO commercials...that part was cool...from Vegas...my complaint tho, is who decides when the solidified stars are passed by?...no Blake Shelton, Little Big Town, Carrie (duo only), the list goes on...why Eric Church?...oh my...some others nice stuff tho...Chris Stapleton was solid...Gabby with her cover of LeeAnn Womack...and Kelly Clarkson (Brianne) doing Dolly...led the bunch...the rest, JCC...

In the NFL offseason...a WR for the Atlanta Falcons, Calvin Ridley, was banned from the sport for one year...due to him betting on the NFL games...is this isolated?...in a sport that is riddled with gambling...I wonder how many players (and coaches) are involved in a fantasy football league?...as you know, I am really interested in the makeups of the officials, too...how much they gamble on the games...hmmm...does anyone investigate this?...some games seem woefully officiated...right?...

Tongue in cheek...the semi truckers...who gathered from all over to drive to DC to voice their displeasure about masked mandates...and then, the mandates are over...and then, the cost of petrol makes their trip home, a lot more expensive...this is NOT what they hoped for...I reckon...

Gotta brag a bit...had a terrific day on the links...one never knows what the Horse will do...a 77...two errant shots cost me a really good score...not too bad for a real hack...but, I putted the rock well...go figure...

Kids, make yourself a great one today...get out and smell the roses...bask in the sunshine...take a bike ride to your fav park...prepare great meals...enjoy what you can...you are free...
