Masterful



As Coach K leads his team thru the Big Dance...the Duke Blue Devils...he does so without the theatrics of the other coaches...not sure how he does that...as I was one of the latter...he possesses the inner calm that very few have in the job of coaching...to sit most of the game, while the craziness of the play goes on before him...is truly amazing....not that he doesn't get up and get after it, at times...who doesn't do that?...in a game besieged by worse than ever...officiating...

Duke beat Michigan St and advanced to the sweet sixteen...with a squad that I said can't shoot...well, from long range...alas, it took two bombs to set the sail that let them cruise into the next round...I stand corrected...

In the past year, we had flights and journeys canceled...due to the Covid thing...and the $ for the flights was sitting in our account...that had to be used prior to June 25th, I think....thereabouts...SO...we rescheduled yesterday...to Nashville...and thanks to them Gahrs, got a place to stay at a World Mark...this is a great thing...oh yea, the cost of the plane tix, was doubled from last year...due to the rise of fuel I reckon...

The petrol price for us was $5.69 a gallon yesterday...how about yours?...

About every 2 years or so, the Horse reinvests in a new electric shaver...they are not cheap, it is true...but, I use the machine most every day...my latest purchase?...the Braun...it has plenty of pep and does a great job...

Oh yea, and the BC Pizza oven was a huge smash...this was a fresh one that we made, ah, the pizza...now will try one of them frozen pizzas in it...so far, a resounding approval...

Putin's War...marches on...with more death and destruction...in as much, as he will have to rebuild the country that he is taking...that is, if he does...just show your face there, you bastard...

American Idol...last nite was a fizz...didn't see a champ in the mix...got so boring, I fell asleep...

A Chinese Boeing jet went down over their country...132 aboard...so sad...

If it is a Monday, it is a golf day...repeat after moi, Horse...calm, cool, and BANG!...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
