Whole Lotta Talk

One of my long standing pet peeves of elected officials and their countless promises...is that they RARELY do what they have promised during their election running time...taxes, infrastructure, debt ceiling, schools, police, firefighters, shoot, the list of whatevers goes on and on...the latest is the homeless...everyone has an idea, until they get into office, and suddenly, NO SOLUTION!...and then, VOILA!, time to start raising funds for the next campaign to stay in office...a vicious cycle of greed and disparity...HOWEVER, here in south SoCal...in San Diego...the powers to be have done something that they have deemed warranted, promised, and then carried out...BIKE LANES!...we have them everywhere...and growing...now, there are rarely bikers on them, but dammit, if you  want to  bike in our fair city...you have lanes upon lanes to do so...my favs (sic) are the ones going totally uphill to Hillcrest...which would take a behemoth to use them, unless you have an electric bike...then to make matters WORSE, there is but only parallel parking...they have taken a lane of traffic out for the bikers, and then there are two lanes left...one will be stuck due to somebody trying, in vain, to parallel park...the hardest thing to do while using a car...for most peops...I digress...will take a breath and move on...

The NBA is running their silly season of All Star this and that...ie, the 3 point shootout and the slam dunk thang...before the actual All Star game...one thing that caught me fancy...in the All Star Futures...they had games that weren't timed, but had an end point of 50...first team to that number won...I like that...certainly, I wish we would have done that in summer league back when I was coaching...like YEARS ago...imagine a pro game going to 80...it would change things...think about it...

Prez B came on the tele, and said that Putin had made up his mind and will attack the Ukraine...all the while, Ukraine says it wants to join NATO...take over the spot that trump had us drop out of...I joke...sorta...Russia said no way, Jose...to be sure, I have no idea what is going on...figure the 'shock and awe' is just days away...

Speaking of trump...in his rapid departure of the White House, where he squatted for 4 too long years...he apparently took too many boxes of items...I'm sure inadvertently, as he can't read...some were highly sensitive and not to be taken...'dammit, Jared, why did you do that?'...

I did not watch one second of the Winter Olympics...not a sign of protest, but of disinterest...

Nobody has yet to tell me what wordle is...

The MLB...still in a lockout...and not looking good for the spring ball...at all...the meetings have lasted just minutes and there is NO give...rich vs rich...there you go...we want more...JCC...

This just can't be true, can it?...the GOP is still working on discrediting Hillary Clinton...and that gets them where?...

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson...in a bitter brouhaha, over having a questionable mask free party...needs to contact trump ASAP...find his hairdresser's name and pay him a quid or two to get his locks done right...or like donny's...on the other hand, leave it be...

I see that one of the stars of the Celebrity All Star game, was none other than Machine Gun Kelly...'mother, here is my new boyfriend, Machine Gun'...
