Natty Chocolate Fondue Day

Shoot, my lead is the day of days...National Chocolate Fondue Day...my guess is that many of you have never ever had fondue...in fact, you probably think it is some form of Asian food...don't you...naw, it's a dipping thang...chocolate...melted in this bowl...with sticks of whatever, you dip into the goodie...strawberries, pound cake, marshmallows, and well, whatever you might like...kind a lead in to Valentine's Day...BTW, if you are thinking of getting me a present for the 'HEART" day, I like caps...baseball caps...ah, NOT MAGA ones...

'I'll be your love 'til the end of time'...the line from a song that was a hit in me formative years...wait, when did that stop?...I did not realize just how great this lead singer was in Jay and the Americans...'The Voice', was indeed Jay Black...passed away just last October, at the age of 82...Cara Mia, Come a Little Bit Closer, This Magic Moment, Some Enchanted Evening, amongst others...there are vids of him singing, on YouTube that are well worth the viewing...he was amazing and under appreciated...

Speaking of donny...he and his former VP have a little spat going on...Mike Pence is saying that donny wanted him to personally change the election results...which, he told trump that is a no no...can't do, buddy...donny called him 'weak' and other choice trump vernacular...and tried to persuade him to redo the Constitution...can't they just go away?...

There is nothing like coming home from a hard days work (18 holes of golf) and arriving to the aromatic smell of freshly baked cookies, that the Boss Lady made...

At work yesterday, we discussed the rationale for many of the top PGA pros skipping the formerly known golf T at Pebble Beach...Bing Crosby's Clam Bake...GL said that the pros don't like playing with the amateurs...OK...then, I heard from the players...who do...these amateurs are made up of most of the high dollar donors for the tour...they think it is important to mingle with them...and this...there are some blokes from the Middle East ( and Greg Norman) who want to form an elite golf league...pay these dudes high dollars to join it...$30 million +...kind of hard to turn that down...pro golf is at a cross roads...

Combustible...two teams in the NBA...that have saddled themselves with vets, er stars of the past...and are not doing well...the Brooklyn Nets and the LaLa Lakers...ya'll need a combo of youth and vets to swing the long season WINS...lurve watching their demise...POOF!...

We ate at Roy's last eve...simply divine fish meals...just a short jaunt from our condo...and it makes you feel like you are way away...in a Maui type moment...I kid u not...

Just once turn on the tele and watch a pro or college hoop game...and notice the coaching section...there must be 8-10 blokes there, all wearing matching Nike stuff...lord, how many coaches do they need?...the players do whatever they want, anyway...

And this...of the 30 NBA teams, there are 12 black head coaches...in the NFL, there are 32 teams and ONE black head coach...
