National Love Your Pet Day


You KNOW we do...Sammi...probably like 14 now...she is not as spry as she once was...neither are we...but, she is still something...as cute as a button...runs the house...and gives love like most dawgs do...as Boss Lady says 'it's your job, Sammi'...now, do the same for yours...I KNOW you will and do...

As much as I bad mouthed the bike lanes yesterday, we used them around town...in the city, yes...traveling out of town, no...but so it goes...what WE want and what is done...two different things...the destination was to be Little Italy, and then...switched it to the gold mine priced Starbucks...don't they know I am on a fixed income?...

The weather here, is about to turn to the rainy stuff...the transition is this bloody fog in the am...'they' say about 2 days of the wet...hmmm, 'we need it' is the cry...

Was watching some college hoops...the Ducks gave a fine effort in 'Zona, only to pull up down by 3...to be honest, this could be the poorest UO team in a decade...the Oregon St Beavs are dreadful.  Lost to the other ASU school...no match...and the SDSU Aztecs methodically beat Fresno St...outside of Gonzaga, all the west is about equal...well, except the Beavs...BUT, I don't see a favorite to win it all, anywhere...wide open...well, except the _____...

Two man race at the Genesis...Riviera in LaLa Land...HOWEVER...think someone is gonna come outta the pack and make the leaders squirm...JT?...Morikawa?...Scheffler?...I dunno...ah, Niemann is at -19 and Young at -16...13 the best of the rest...right now...

The number 1 health Q for the day...will a 4th shot be necessary for the Covid?...if so, I am there...did you see that the Brits Queen has tested positive for Covid?...95 years young...ah, not good...

We were amongst peeps who were talking ages...ah, stop that...'you look good for your age'...geez...a compliment?...then, a slap...quit it...don't want to talk about it...

How about the journey of the pro football player, Eric Weddle...a former San Diego Charger...back when...got the call up from retirement from the LA Rams...was instrumental in their Championship...then re-retired...and is now going to coach the high school football team in the San Diego area...coo...

Texas...the race for Guv...the oh so very right, like in political right...Greg Abbott...has a very tough going now...he is losing popularity...and the one gaining?...none other than Beto O'Rourke...very interesting...

Portland Oregon made the national news...due to a killing in a park...shooting...that's what it takes...shootings, killing, anything negative...that is the news nowadays...

Wooah....forgot this...late add...we got a CONDO WIDE SCARE!...abandon the building...use the stairs...not the elevators...not too bad for us, 5 flights...imagine the 34th floor owners...turned out to be some burned popcorn...really...first time we have had this sorta thang, I think...YET, we saw but maybe 20 people who did what was asked...the rest?...gonna go down with the ship, I reckon'...

And this...what you forevers have been on pins and needles for...trump's 'truth social app' is set for release on Monday thru the Apple Store...oh my, trump and truth in the same sentence?...

You know, we love our pet ever single day...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
