Forever Friday




You know, the day of days...just has to be this day of the week...right?...who does not look forward to it?...last day of work, school, er, whatever...FRIDAY...just seeing it written, brings a smile to me face...not like a Monday....Thursday is bad...

We just went out and did the wild thang...booked a trip to Vegas...hey, we had TRAVEL DOLLARS that had to be used...coincided with a concert with none other than Carrie Underwood...well now, that will be a fun jaunt, right?...am having some probs linking the tix, tho...as they went to my 2nd email site...the old one...geez...nothing is ever easy...

Of course, the Russia/Ukraine border stuff is the number one...topic...each side is accusing the other of aggressions...aw, sure...the Ukraine is going to do that...this is what you call Russian propaganda, kids...trying to give rationale to start it up...

You ever wonder why the Beard has been on 4 teams in 2 years?...or Kyrie thinks the world is flat?...and yet, will not get vaccinated?...just maybe, these dudes did not take schooling too seriously...

The T is in LaLa for the golf millionaires...and they want more money in Saudi Arabia?...just imagine, for winning a tourney, you WIN over a million bucks...like 1 and 1/2...not bad...duh...

On the other hand, I read that a bonus was given to the teachers and staff, for a bit over $2,000...in Salem, Oregon...and the _hit hit the fan...way too much dough...oh my...what is wrong with this?...yet the bellyachers, will plop down $500 for a Blazer ticket...

The show 'Anna' that we are watching...the dialogue that she uses is driving me CRAZY!...her interpretation is just awful...maybe it is more than that, I don't like anything about her...but, I like the show...weird and wack...

Ye is cutting a new album...where can I get it?...kidding...

Off I head to the course...it's a Friday!...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
