Diplomacy?


As the war battles, eerily wait in the near future...there is this thing called DIPLOMACY that lingers as well...can the leaders of the Ukraine, Russia, USA, and France find a workable solution to this?...rumors abound...that if there is no attack by the Russians, that the two Prezzes will meet later this week...Putin and Biden...for the sake of mankind, I hope this happens...

All Star games can be a bust...usually are...witness the NFL debacle a month ago...yet, somehow the NBA got, er, snuck a good one on us...using that end point thang...the total that the winner must reach...in lieu of the time clock...Steph Curry put on a shooting exhibition like no other...LeBron hit a fadeaway to win it...and there you go...it really was fun, albeit way tooooo long at halftime...

The NBA honored their version of the 75 best players of all time...for the 75 year anniversary of the league...the newbies, voiced their thanks to the oldies...that they wouldn't be what they are, without them...well, why don't you give some of your scratch to them, then...you make millions, they made hundreds...

This is President's Day...and no better to honor the 4 mentioned above who are trying to keep peace...well, that's a stretch...but, I dig this...all except donny....who I despise...not too happy with LBJ, but not on the same level as trump...the rest?...kudos...

Did you enroll in trump's new social app?....yea, right...way right...beyond right...Anna, did you?...and forget to pay the bill?...run the card again...it is the system...see anything in common, here?...

At the end of the Wisconsin/Michigan hoops game...boys...there was a nonsensical brouhaha...as per usual, one coach used an ill timed time out...in wake of a semi-blowout...the losing coach got mad about it...happens...then, in the line of after the game hand shakes...the two head coaches got heated up...inasmuch, as the Mich coach threw a punch at a Wisc assistant coach...there you go, the rest followed suit...better to walk away dude...the outcome?...TBD...

The Winter Olympics is over...ho hum...

How is your weather?...down here, it is cold again...and then the rains to hit for a couple of days...not Oregon type rain, but rain nonetheless...'we need it'...

Terrific win for Joaquin Niemann...led the whole way at the Genesis in the PGA...his 2nd win...as there is not a clear dominant figure in the golfing world right now...not like Arnie, Jack, or Tiger...every week, another dude wins...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
