Voting Rights

Morning, kids...you must be aware of how this next election just might go...Gerrymandering has been a hot topic throughout the land...redistricting that could cause and concern for the Democrats of our great country...a legal swipe to raise issues for the Republicans...of more anxiety, is the notion of closing polling places, and making a more centralized one...like wrapping 6 into 1 type of deal...imagine standing in those lines...erasing the idea of mail in votes...or, even elimination of drop off sites...there are more tricks up their sleeves...but, I ask you to get involved...if your city or state is changing the voting process...be cognizant of what's going on...every citizen has the right to vote...

This part is extremely repetitive...but, it angers me so...perhaps, frustrates me...that once a politician gets elected...they immediately get into their political block...either a Demo or Repub...and vote the way of that block...INSTEAD of what their constituents want...the ones that got them elected...and then...they get lost in getting re-elected...seeking the money from the lobbyists to do so...you see any path to corruption here?...duh...$, intimidation, and greed...

My lead story from yesterday's blog...the Xmas CD...guess what?...the other CD arrived!...lost in the mail, somewhere...without a date on it...weird and wack...I gots 2...

The ship has sunk...and you are asking which one?...the LaLa Laker one...they have been floundering about at .500...unacceptable mark for  a LeBron James led team...the coach has been put on the hot seat...it is easier to move one person, than the whole team...just how much 'coaching' do these blokes do, anyhow?...last eve, the Lakers lost at home, to the lowly Indy Pacers...talent vs talent, no comparison...the item of note...is that the coach benched Russ Westbrook for the final 4 minutes of the game...wooah...the buddy of LeBron...OK, the ship is tilting...the sails are full of holes...love it...

Kind of on the back burner...not sure why...but SCOTUS has okayed the release of the trump tapes on the Jan 6 coup attempt...bet a 5 spot is burning beyond belief...

Did you hear this right?...Prez B predicts that Russia will move in to the Ukraine...ah, what?...it's not like they bought a villa there...the word is 'invade'...

For us down here in SoCal, there was a brutal knife killing in a LA elite furniture store...a UCLA lady grad student was the victim...be aware, as the killer has been known to frequent San Diego...for some odd reason, I feel leery of describing him...here is his picture...

Time to go back...to your, er our, school lunch times...in the 50-70's...as I saw this blurb on the worst school lunches of all time...ha ha...have to admit, in my grade school days...I opted out, as the 2nd grade teacher made you eat everything on the plate...ie peas, held my nose and choked them down...instead, I made myself miracle whip sandwiches...true dat...later on, weiner rollups...cinnamon rolls...15 cent burgers...and bottled milk...always passed on the Friday fish...always...

Is this a sign?...that 1/3 of the people in the USA have less than $100 in their checking accounts...hmmm, are these forevers?...stop that Horse...is it that they charge everything to credit?...or, they use actual money?...what does this mean?...can't be a debit card, cuz that comes from your checking...hmmm...

That underground volcano erupting...in Tonga...got me thinking again...just how many underground volcanos are there on earth?...according to the crack scientists at the Oregon State University...over ONE MILLION!...oh my, I had no idea...
