The NFL Weekend

I just dig these playoff games in the NFL...this weekend in particular...the elite 8...win or go home...not sure why I fancy these so, but I do...today's games...Cincy Bengals at Tennessee at 1:30...and then, the 49ers at the Green Bay Pack at 5:15...have both home teams winning, but, c'mon, they could go either way...of note, is the league is no longer testing the anti-vaxers for Covid...ah, what?...then, test no one...Katie bar the door (?)...

So weird, the past couple of days...the CD arriving after I wrote about it being lost in the mail...and then in yesterday's mail, came the yellow pages book...which I did not know they still published...the Horse learneth more...

A stat last eve from a Dubs win vs Houston...Steph Curry's first EVER game winning shot...really?...woulda thought he had a many of 'em...however, Golden St has not been playing well...yea,, it is a looooong season...

Another alarming thang...with the collegiates in their methodology of allowing the players to go anywhere...the star RB of the Ducks, Travis Dye, is relocating to USC...damn it all...if you be a Trojan fan, you are about to dust off your caps, irons your shirts, and be a proud USC fan all over again...they are gonna be tuff...so predicts the Horse...there is more to this story, but I will wait 'til it is official...

Oh, and this is a jewel...the much hated owner of the Chargers by most every San Diegan....Dean Spanos...has been sued by his OWN nephews...HIS OWN...for 'screwing' them out of money intended for them...ah, the family bliss...

We have redecorated the condo, in the pandemic time...we have plenty of it...black and white...and added this...the pictures are of our parents...cool, huh...

For all of the hoopla of best of, and most memorable...bands of all time...you must put up Alabama in the mix...they started the soothing, country sound....not just the twang...there is none better than 'Feels So Right'...or, my fav, 'Old Flame'...BTW, of all the people we have seen in concert...never have had the luck to see them...on the bucket list...

I think I invested way poorly in the Crypto...it is down to $214...ha ha...what was my tops, $400?...egads...how do you spell L-O-S-E-R?...here is another example...read on...

Sen Mitch McConnell...Kentucky...along with Rand Paul, the two senators from that state...just has to be the worst of all in the Nation...this statement  by Mitch was not only degrading, but as racially charged as any I have seen in the modern era..."Well, the concern is misplaced, because if you look at the statistics, African-American voters are voting in just as high a percentage as Americans."...what?...this was his response to the query of voting access and possible concerns from non-white voters...the suggestion is...Americans are white...right?...or, non-black, in this case...time for him to move on...

Sad tale out of Harlem...on a domestic dispute call...two cops were shot, one killed and one in critical condition...rookie cops...just painfully sad...such a hard job...

The masks...the N95...have you got yours yet?...the newest one?...will be more encompassing than the others out there...will strap to the back of your cabeza, too...and your neck...damn it all, people, get all your shots...what was the terminology?...herd something...

Finally...this...we are inundated with the mandate to wear your mask...indoors, meetings, social gatherings, blah blah blah...on airplanes, buses, trains, cabs, Lyfts, and on and on...YET, when the Supreme Court (SCOTUS) meets on the critical issues of the land, and the Chief Justice says to wear our masks...one Judge does not, NEIL GORSUCH!...do as I say, not as I do...of course, he was one of trump's appointees...to the court...screw him and I mean worse language than that...
