Morning, kids...the sun is out, the sky is sorta clear...the temp will be in the mid 60's...it is a grand day at the Pinnacle in the Marina...how can I help you?...well, let's go with a homonym...ha ha...

Let us start with a truly great game in Cincy...breaking a 31 year streak of non-wins in the NFL playoffs, it was fun for moi to watch the Bengals hold on, dramatically for their win...albeit, a very poorly officiated one...man, with all the sub Refs on the sideline, just in case...the ones on the field had a brutal day...both ways...

I taped the 2nd game in Buffalo...saw the score later on and will not watch it...highly surprised by the outcome...a brutal beat down of the Pats...47-17...did NOT see that happening...

Today, 3 more playoff games...all seem like the favs should win them...10 am, is the Bucs and the Eagles...1:30 is the 49ers and the Cowboys...5:15 is the Chiefs and the Steelers...the Bucs and Chiefs should win easily...but the middle game?...closer than you think...

The late news out of Texas...hostages taken in a Synagogue...they all were released and the perpetrator was killed...have yet to hear who it was...some are leaking it was a person from England...but, I dunno...news out of Britain (via Reuters) is that a Britain man killed in Texas...ah, 1 + 1 is ?...in this case, 1...

Your boy, donny, gave a speech in Arizona...as Michael Wilbon, so eloquently says about dastardly things...'Shut up'...PTI dude...

Tickled in the NBA...PDX won and the LaLa Lakers lost...ah, BIG...fun stuff...two different games, not against each other...but, both on the road...

The Duck lads went into LA and beat both the Bruins and Trojans...no easy feat...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
