MLK Day


With the lack of diversity talk that came out of the mouth of trump...and still rages on, per his babble at his latest rally in Arizona...how the whites are treated unfairly...oh my...we need to step up and do our best at equating life for all...not tearing it down...nothing better than to honor he who tried to do just that...Martin Luther King...a perfect reminder for us all...how far we have come, in this country....let us not go backwards...

The NFL trifecta yesterday...was kind of the way I saw it...the two, Bucs and Chiefs, had a fairly dominating day at the gridiron...and the middle game, was a slugfest...again, controversy with the officiating...still, I have no idea what is holding and what is not...do the striped shirts guys and gals know?...as the 49ers hung on for a huge win...

Saw some disturbing video of a couple of things, to do with that venue in, well, outside of Dallas...the gates opened, and the fans ran in like it was closing day at the local Best Buy...listen, kids, when we were there I marveled at how poorly the place was constructed...some hallways were just a few feet wide...and lawdy...after the game was over...and the Cowboys lost...the things that the fans threw at the players and refs as they tried to exit the field...was a total embarrassment to the team, city, and the NFL...

One more game tonight...the last of the wild card drama...yes, this will be a beaut...the Cards at the Rams...wonder who will have the most fans there in LA?...I must guess the outcome...Rams in a stunner...one more thing about that new stadium and it's new inhabitants...the Rams and the Chargers...for the Rams leaving St Louis there is a huge payment going back to that city for the departure...$750 million?...something like that...and the rumor is, that San Diego is going to court to get the same thing out of Spanos and his Charger franchise...we shall see...hate Spanos...

Rules...as we ventured into an area with extreme trepidation...IKEA...you know, the Covid and all...EVERYONE there had a mask on...everyone!...spacing was a bit of a problem...OK...we have rules in our condo...in all meeting areas, masks must be worn...and for the most part, people abide by them...however, last nite we viewed a group of people NOT!...blatantly doing a gathering, I will assume, that the rules did not apply to them...or so they thought...as, what rules?...

Yes, we have moved on from Longmire, reluctantly...now, into the movies...flicks...saw one from Apple TV, that actually used the Dolby Atmos sound feature...which, I may add, is DYN-O-MITE!...sounds coming from everywhere...cool...

The bloke who held the hostages in a synagogue in Dallas...killed by a swat team, specially designed for this sort of thing...Hostage Rescue Team...the guy was Brit national...trying to get a trade for a held female terrorist...nope...he got nothing, but his life over...

Chief Donny...how close to the Longmire Sheriff Department are you?...number of deputies and all...you ever think of going to a bigger city?...

I have always thought about this...for a guy who preached non-violence...MLK...to get shot and killed, seemed like an unjust way of death...hmmm, that sounded awkward...is there such a path for an 'eye for an eye' in life, and death?...does religion enter in here somewhere?...for his killer did not deserve to live another day on this earth...or, am I wrong?...

Have the same thoughts for the killer of RFK, Sirhan Sirhan...who still lives...in prison, and wants to get out...or the killer of John Lennon, he still lives...am I wrong?...

I must remind you of the latest word...which I have told you about 6 months ago...'WOKE'...is an English adjective meaning 'alert to racial prejudice and discrimination'...pay attention to how it used, especially in the next few days...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
