I Thought You Ought To Know


Today the Horse is going to take you down a different path than usual...am going to highlight 6 items that caught my eyes...earth shattering?...NO, but a marginal diversion from my normal...bear with me, as I have limitations...and, will not try to bore you with some stuff...

1.  Hot mikes...when one speaks to crowds, over the public address system...using a microphone, things occasionally happen...like you think the mike is off, and it is not...how many times have YOU wanted to say how YOU really feel...but, the smarts in your system, takes over and you just think them...or mutter what you REALLY feel...it happened to Prez B...as he was responding to a Fox News bloke...what he thought was under his breath, "You stupid son of a bitch"...oh my, major guffaw...BY A PREZ!...out of character, I think...I really don't know...I will not do any comparison to what donny would have done, as I would have expected it...Biden has since apologized to the news dude...and we have this to ponder...is he really stupid?...

2.  Retirement...when do you say enough is enough?...such is the case of the legendary QB of the NFL. Tom 'Terrific' Brady...when asked, he said that it may be a family decision...really, when is it time to say that 'I have done this job long enough?'...move on to another patch in my lifetime...44 years of age...taking brutal hits by monstrous dudes...but, he loves what he does...if it were up to him, he would go another year...is it up to him?...the query...

3.  Hirings...kind of the opposite of number 2...there are still 8 head coach openings in the NFL...with lots of rumors about the New Orleans job, being vacant, too...Payton may get the axe, the axe...if so, he would immediately get one of the 8 I mentioned...he is that good...so, what is the hang up?...gots to figure the teams, er franchises, are being deliberate to make sure they interview minorities...well, no Native Americans...but, blacks, for sure...or as Mitch calls them, African Americans...who are different from Americans...right, Mitch?...I digress...nothing ever surprises me on this level of business...

4.  Masks, masking, vaccinations, anti-vaccers...the wonder in me went deeper...as to numbers of white evangelists who are actually vaccinated for the Covid 19...are we dealing with a problem that can't be solved?...the studies have at it 30-40% who are not...trusting in God to protect them...times have altered those numbers a bit...skewed them...but, it is still significant who won't get the shots...and the masks...the only reason that they would wear then, is cuz they have to...one more, non related thing...the masks themselves...what truly does protect you?...'they' are saying the cloth ones don't...shoot, I am thinking that if you are inoculated, who are YOU protecting?...regardless of what mask you wear...

5.  Doors...what?...locked doors...to the outside of the decks, on a high rise...why oh why?...to protect us from Spiderman?...so, we have a busted spring on the lock of the door going to one of our decks...TG, we have no one outside on it...of course, $$$$...he we go, calling a locksmith...to unlock the bloody door...and then...we are going to remove all said locks...so this will not happen ever again...is there a day that everything runs absolutely smoothly?...

6.  Flash Frozen...well, I have to have one that tickles your taste buds...are you a fish monger?...then, you know all about this...fish caught, then flash frozen...perfect filets of...halibut or cod...perhaps, others...but we have tried and tasted those two...and the results?...fantastic...got them from Costco...the halibut is about double the price of the cod...not breaded, mind you...that part is up to the individual cooker...we then coat 'em with Panko...cook and fry them in olive oil...I am very a very picky fish eater, and these are spectacular!...trust the Horse...

OK, then, these are the 6 things I thought you ought to know for today...'ought'...shouldn't that be ot?...why do the English make the language so hard?...guess that is why the millennials use the LOL, BTW, and that sort of stuff...on their texts and tele...try this on for size...things u ot to no...Tuesday, January 25, 2022...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
