Can't Explain

Yea, so, sometimes you just 'Can't Explain' a phenomena...case in point is the failure to play up to one's abilities...this song, is from the knock out group, 'The Who'...it was the B side...notice this headlining hit of the 45...ah, what is a 45?...

Some times things just do not gel...might one call them upsets?...not in the NBA...as they play a ludicrous amount of the games...82 regular season ones, and then, if good enuff, the possibility of 24 more in the playoffs...with all that running, jumping, starting & stopping, pivoting, going side to side, and colliding (and Covid)...how the dudes make it thru the entire season is beyond me...let alone the constant travel...so, expect an 'off' showing once in a while...usually on the road...case in point the Dubs loss at the Bucks last eve...down 32 early...and thus, done...for the nite...

The exception is when you are streaking...with wins or losses...the effort seems to be there more often...either to keep them going, or breaking 'em...

The NFL continues their cleaning of their houses...er, the rich cats playing with their tinker toys...as the Texans were next...chopping the HC after but ONE SEASON!...lord...leaving this...so we can ponder...there is one black head coach in all of the 32 teams in the league...reminds me of the era, that there was only one black QB in the NFL...what gives?...how many black owners are there?...NONE!...there are two minority owners...one Pakistanian, Shahd Kahn of the Jags...and Kim Pegula (Asian American) who co-owns the Bills...hmmm...

Watched the Ducks lads beat the Bruins at Pauley last eve...OT...as UO did a dance of panic at the end of the regular game...give away...choked it up badly...then collected themselves and got the W...BTW, HC Dana Altman's 700th win at the collegiate level...that is a lot of W's, kids...

At 6am (sometimes earlier) I will go on the back deck and watch the day unfurl...it is a marvelous time of the day...quiet and serene...anyhoo...there is this Uber (Lyft?) driver that parks his smaller SUV down on Market St...awaiting a text to pick up...and rather than sit in his rig...he gets out and polishes his black vehicle...it appears to be spotless...shiny, when the early sun hits it...I have seen him do this countless times...

Prez B had a sit down with the opposition yesterday...working on a bill that might benefit all...just not the Demos...almost 2 hours...a wild assumption, it was not like the previous Prez, who worked on strong arming, er bullying, ah intimidating...

The PGA is still in Hawaii...tuff stuff...and one of the leaders thus far, is Jim Furyk...the pundits are calling him old...wait, he is 52...as far as I can tell, that is certainly NOT OLD...try 74 on for size...that is...
