Angels on Earth

As I was on a chat with my PNW buddy, the Snooki, he told me of something that I had never heard of...thought of...never dreamed of...NURSES...that deal with the Covid 19 patients in the hospital...deeper...the ones that talk to the dying...as the family can't get access to their loved ones...imagine...the need for them...as one is lying in the bed, possibly on a ventilator...knowing that their life is ending...and can't communicate with anyone...BUT, these special people who will...there are Hospice workers, too...their access is probably denied...so it has to be somebody from within the hospital...there is a anagram for them...which isn't the important thing here...it is what they do...trying to sooth the souls of those in need...these people are truly 'Angels on Earth'...unsung heroes?...that doesn't seem fitting...in these times of questioning what is right and wrong about vaccinations...just ask them...this set of human, are the BEST OF THE BEST!...

There was a time, like a year + ago....that in the hood, the Marina in San Diego...that at 8 pm, there was a mass impromptu sound of gratitude for the health care workers...lasted about 10-15 minutes...banging of pans, loud music, clapping, shouting, and the like...as we all were quarantined...basically...then it stopped one day...some people complained about the noise...screw them...we need more of this...more signs of gratitude...as the pandemic has NOT gone away, YET...and the health care workers are STILL dealing with it...I thank you...EXTREMELY so...

Elsewhere...

The bulk of my reading this am, has to do with the massive snow storm hitting the northeast...hard to imagine that happening, as we bask in the 70* temp here in south SoCal...but, I do miss the snow...how peaceful and serene it is...and how beautiful, too...always made me happy beyond belief...

The closing day out at the Farmers in Torrey Pines...out of nowhere popped up a former winner there...that got so little air time...Jason Day...as the cameras were fixated on Rahm and JT...geez, that course is sooooo hard...and soooo long...even from the white tees, kids...

Speaking of whites...ah, well...3 of the 9 head coaches have been tabbed in the NFL...all white blokes...the minorities?...yes, still but one head coach in all the league...6 more tries, you peaces of ____ owners...

Also, headline nabbing...the coupling of KK and her latest beau...really?...do you actually give a hankers hair who she is dating?...this is news?...they have to photoshop her kini?...now, THIS is news...can't have any wobble wobble on her arse...

Hey, the other game...the Bengals at the Chiefs...who ya got?...if it comes down to a bloody field goal to decide the winner, it will be a Cincinnati victory...their kicker is gold...

Time to complain about the COX system...was promised the replacement box a few days ago...no show...so, the Horse is gonna take the faulty one to the COX Solutions Store...for a solution...I will publish the results...here and on YELP...

Tomorrow, head up north to LaLa, to meet up with me son...play in the alumni T...which we have won 1/2 the time we have entered...5?...something like that...yesterday, adjusted my driving, and had 5 pars and 2 birdies...both on par 4's...a good sign, kids...

Can YOU believe that there are people out there, that still don't believe that the Holocaust ever happened?...I have a good idea who they are, too...
