Ain't that a KICK in the ______


Nobody sang it better, than Dean Martin...that signified the ending of BOTH of the NFL playoff games yesterday...Field Goals, at the buzzer...to win 'em...'Ain't that a kick in the head?'...actually one other kick, did the hit the head of the defender...at the end of the 1st half of the SF/GB game...turned out huge...anyhoo, you do know how I feel about the kicking as the determining factor of games...the players beat each other up for 4 quarters, and this dude comes bouncing out, untouched mind you...and HIS KICK determines who wins or loses...seems archaic...the most action he will get, will be after he strikes the ball with his foot...and the players will mob him...his little body, probably gets bruises...

Knowing this, I, as a GM, would draft a KICKER in the 3rd round...he is THAT important...get to the games, Horse...Cincy won, cuz their kicker is all aces...Tennessee lost cuz their O play calling was atrocious...SF won cuz of their special teams...GB and Aaron Rogers, lost cuz of their special teams...so, now what happens today?...

Rams at the Bucs at noon...and the Bills at the Chiefs at 3:30...after missing both of yesterday games...0/2...the Horse picks the visitors...but, shoot, they are truly tossups...and really, I have no clue....none whatsoever...makes some sense that I would go 0/4...easily...never ever bet on the NFL...

Lots of written space and air wave talk about what went on in the Hugh Hefner Playboy Mansion...well, duh, what do you THINK went on there?...are you gonna be surprised?...they want names, who went there, why they did, and on and on and on...

Oh boy...my lead article of the day...the FG...turns out that in the SF/GB game winning kick...the Packers only had 10 guys on the field at the time...ain't that a kick in the head?...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting...
