Terror


The morning report on the devastation in Kentucky...especially the candle factory...like a bomb hit it...but no, it was Mother Nature...the tornado....so many lives lost, and the number has not been finalized...can't imagine...makes us all pause a second, at our own good fortune...that we are still in the good graces...well, you know...

All the rest is much less emphatic...or of meaning...

Navy beat the Army...man, these are always great viewings...as the Midshipmen held the ball most of the 2nd half...brilliant play calling...timely gambles, too...and a much deserved W for the Navy...yet, both teams score so little, it was never over until the last 2 minutes...

Cuz, I couldn't sleep much...the Horse did read...Peril...and the timing of the book, was right before Jan 6...the way that trump tried in vain for VP Pence to overthrow the people's election...was chilling and deplorable...his calling of Pence, 'weak and no longer a friend of mine'...was just part of his bullying pulpit...how he didn't call in for an immediate removal of trump was beyond me...the concept of changing an election is horrific...that it actually happened here and just a few months back...in the USA!...I ask all of you to read Peril and see the written word of this...I do not have all the adjectives to describe this...action, or attempted action...of trump...

The Ducks did indeed hire the DC of the Georgia Bulldogs...wonder when he officially gets on campus?...there is so much to do, to save what's been in the works...as a rookie HC, to think he is going to finish up with the college playoffs with Georgia...makes him behind the other coaches doing their recruiting...the mark of success in the collegiate world...Dan Lanning...who knows?...

JFK assassination....as we went back into time...another deplorable act...there was a flick on Showtime...'JFK Revisited'...Oliver Stone...to be fair, he is not a believer in the one gunman theory...er, 'fact' that the Warren Report threw at the Nation...his notion, does trigger your brain to check into Allen Dulles...the head of the CIA...more skepticism...especially, as there are more documents that are not released to the public...even NOW...

Allen Dulles...not only a CIA head, but a member of the Warren Commission...does something smell to you?...let's all agree to just move on and...let the Lee Oswald be the killer...not to mention that Jack Ruby, the Mafia linked bloke, just got sneaky on a Sunday morn...slipped by the Dallas Police...and shot and killed Oswald...blind luck...right?...

Calm down Horse...let's finish with some NFL...the Bills at the Bucs...go with TB...the Giants at the Chargers...one more day for the UO grad...the Raiders at the Chiefs...KC...da Bears at the Pack...JCC...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
