Snow for Christmas?


Let's start upbeat, kids...enough of the doom and gloom...as ya'll can find that anywhere, and everywhere...my 24 sources are loaded with it...but, on the west coast, there are signs...signs I tell ya...that parts are gonna have a WHITE CHRISTMAS!...my buddy, Snooki, informed me that the Willamette Valley has a great chance of that...gosh, when was the last time?...we in SD shall get rain, but up in the mountains, er, Julian, might there be a chance for the white stuff, too?...

Still going...the Futures were up this am...we really need an uptick after the past 5 working days or so...that have been downers in the stocks...promise for the day...'they' say the same about the crypto currency, ah, please, as it has been anything positive, lately...

As we were finally home...and watching another chapter of Longmire...for some reason, the Boss Lady suggested popcorn!...have not had that for a good long while, and it was great...even Sammi lurves it...couple that with the bubbly, made for a very fine nocha...little things, kids, that make things right...

Unbeknownst to me...I just saw that this is the National 'Look on the Bright Side Day'...well, how about that...like minds....er, perhaps, Carnac...or, the Horse...whatever...

Prez B has announced that he is making available 500 million at home Covid tests for free to the common man and woman in the US of A...starting next month...stay at home...is probably the outcome...dang, there I go, wrecking the positivity...

Is this positive or negative...?...Sarah Palin says that she will not get Covid vaccinated 'over her own dead body'....ah, what?...

OK, let's do the other...cuz, well it needs to come out...

Here in the SD proper...the garbage collectors have gone on strike!...the trash chutes are off limits...pay 'em and let's move on...perhaps, we put garbage bags under our trees...stop it Horse...

The numbers of Covid and Omicron are staggering...everywhere...yet, I am really baffled how the pro athletes are getting it...as they are supposedly all inoculated...are they not?...and have been lying about it?...something says they have been...

I have yet to watch a collegiate football bowl game...albeit, a few minutes...only...but not for any significant time...JCC...did you watch the Beavs in their loss to Utah St?...partly cuz we have been traveling, and partly cuz of no interest...

Nothing tickles me more, than to see the Lakers get beat...and then blame everyone but themselves...makes me feel real good...'set it up!'...

Cereal...yes cereal...have you noticed that in the supers, their aisle has shrunk?...why?...are people not eating cereal like they used to?...pricing?...$5 for a box of Grape Nuts, which is just indeed nuts!...what is happening people, tell me...

RV talk here...I would rather stay in a privately owned RV park, than a state run one, ANY TIME!...they charge a bit more, but they give a lot more...like showers, clean rest rooms, pools, and hot tubs...and usually, wider spaces to park...and HOOK UPS!...

I am getting a good feeling about the new regime in Eugene...by all accounts, the newbies are great recruiters...

Did you find the moon yesterday in me blog?...it was not the bright light in the right forefront...look elsewhere...ah, where's Waldo?...

This is for back in me coaching and playing days...in the Willamette Valley and Salem, in particular, Orygun...the OSAA keeps realigning the leagues...'competitive spirit' I reckon...anyhoo, 5 of the Salem high schools make up one conference...minus McKay...who is going to a lower level with most of the old Valley League...no more travel across the mountains to play Redmond and Bend...a real no duh...think kids won't transfer out of McKay to get in the better spot?...bizarre...

We were so close to ridding ourselves of all our masks...and now this...trying to find what we have left over...so, I ordered more...heard one 'in the know' say, this will last until '24...egads...

Let's see, this is a Tuesday, right?...and there are 2 NFL games...what?...cuz of Xmas?...Seahawks at Rams...Washington at Eagles...kinda like both of them...at the SAME time!...what foo put this schedule together?...pix?...Rams...Eagles...but, who knows who is out with Covid...so...DON'T BET THESE...

In the NBA, the Suns at the Lakers...hmmm, don't like either of them...go for a tie...

Of course, we left some stuff in Cosmo....so off we trapse out to Big Toy to get our goods...perishable items...is trapse even a word?...trapze?...treaps?...trapes?...I dunno...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
