How was your Christmas?...like no other, I am guessing...as the times we live in are precarious...and unpredictable...we pretty much hibernated...had a festive turkey (breast) dinner, which was divine...BTW...watched 'A Christmas Story', that reminded me so  much of the sitcom, 'The Wonder Years'...who borrowed what, er, copied?...had never seen it before, and it was hilarious...

To break our mood, we went on a little jaunt in the Beetle...thru town and out to the beach...surprised that many breakfast restaurants were actually OPEN...as we have travelers in town for...I dunno...had a hunch that our fav donut shop just may be, too...YUP, a line out the door...in Hillcrest...the Boss Lady got us some, and they were the perfect culmination to our dindin...

On with the journey...to the beach...and walked on the boardwalk...the weather was fantastic!...who'd a thunk?...sat on the age old barrier there...basked in the warmth of the sun...it was worth the trip, I tell ya...just a little diversion, that we needed in the worst way...

Of course, the rest of the time...was the Horse watching sports...loved both NFL games...and the Warriors getting key hoops in the last minute for a win in Phoenix...cool...NBA...and the Lake Show losing it's 5th straight, a fine present for moi...hate the Lakers...probably the only time EVER, I have pulled for the Beard and his Nets...

Sentimental...just lurved all the pix of the Facebook peops...showing fam and all...what a wonderful way to keep up on people...and their lives...where they are and what they are doing...am digging the news outta the PNW, as they are getting the white stuff...might be for a mega amount of days, too...jealous I am...

In the past?...Unions...nope, still out there...and the garbage collectors in our city has one....they are striking...imagine, in Xmas time...however, just saw a truck collecting....is it over?...or are these dudes, scabs?...this is Union lingo...BTW, did they ever find Jimmy Hoffa?...

This is beyond compare...I ordered a Christmas CD in November...early...the shipment was to be made 'they said' in the first week of December...nuttin...came...read that many were delivered a few days prior to the 25th...not mine...wrote them...and 'they' said, it will come...and in the mean time, I could download the album...tried to, but it wouldn't work...Merry Christmas, 2022, if it comes...

The masses who care...bitch about the refs who blow these calls...in football, holding on the line, holding in the secondary...in hoops, block and charge, and foul on the shot or not...in baseball, the ball and strike...mostly all judgment ones...'I got blocked out'...or, 'I bet on the visitor'...oops, that would never happen...I bring this up, as the Browns thought that there was holding...ah, in Green Bay?...never...

These Covid and variants numbers are off the charts...have we just given up?...what will be will be?...don't think like that...get your shots...my never ending cry...

In this day after...the thing I look forward to the most?...turkey sandwiches...with cranberry sauce...and loads of football via the Redzone...am I selfish or what?...

Hmmm, do you even know who Doris Day was?....Google it, find some flicks of hers...some music, too... and watch her...she was legendary...
