New Year's Eve

Prep work for our big New Year's Eve Bash, here at the home...well, it is gonna be the Boss Lady, Sammi, and me...we got some champagne (England's finest)...some frozen appetizers, the best from Trader Joes (they look good on the box)...some fine wines...a bit of the better bourbon from BevMo...seeked out the TV guide for the best ball dropping show...NOT Secrest...or the buffoonery of the two blokes from CNN...enuff of them...me thinks the one from Nashville (CBS)...will be the winner...

Speaking of Nashville...I did watch the bowl game that was there last eve...Purdue vs Tennessee...ah, Tennessee was the visitor?...how does that work?...I did not have a dawg in the fray...but, it was a fun one to watch...ended up in OT...and then, seemingly, of course, the Vols got screwed by the refs...even after a review...in the 1st and only OT, they scored as the runner was not down, and reached the ball over the TD line...refs thought otherwise, and then...the Boilermakers (?) won it on a FG...maybe I don't understand the rules like some others do...

The fires and all in Colorado...Boulder area...brutal, as over 600 homes have burned...30,000 people have been evacuated...absolute terror...imagine...this bitter cold, snow, and then...of all things, fires...this is the number 1 thing carried on most, not all, of my 24 sources...even this, can't overtake Omicron...

A golf excursion it is...dang it, it looks like another walk day on the course...maybe 9 holes will suffice...then, back home to pay them bills...better today than tomorrow...the temp at Sycuan right now?...54*...cold...but, no rain...hip hip hooray!....all this before the big bash at the Horse's...

What is the big thing, that we all will see this eve?...the celebrities and wannabes...will hold up 2 fingers from each hand...to signify '22'...duh, our next year...it just has to be better than '21'...

Well, not all of them could figure it out...I think Mick has '44'...or, I dunno...

Silly arse things...a mayonnaise company sponsored a bowl game....between the Carolinas...a JCC game...that the announcers did the goofy things...like putting an Oreo in the mayo and eating it...and the winning coach got a bucket of the mayo dumped on him after the game...lord...

Talk about silly...how the KFam has wiggled into the mainstream media with their antics...their plastic surgery...the alteration of humanity...well, there are masses who pay to see 'em...and be like them...the joke is on us...as they live the lifestyle of the rich and famous...

Just got word that golf is off for today...this is a good thing...my abilities have gone south...ha ha hack...

The BSBCS playoffs are today...Cincy and 'Bama in Dallas at 12:30, then Georgia and Mich in Miami at 4:30...who ya got?...the Horse says the Tide and the Bulldogs...BUT, am pulling for the other two...gonna wonder this...how many of the players will test pos for Covid?...we won't know until game time...could be significant...
