Merry Christmas

Morning all, and a very
Merry Christmas to you!
...here in south SoCal we are embracing weird weather...some rain, then sun, back to rain, and extremely cold temps...like in the 50's...we are handling it, but the stocking caps abound all over the place...

In Cali, the mask mandate is in place...odd, that in the church setting...there can be more than 10 in a gathering...whatever...I will never understand rules that are vague...why have them?...

Did all your wishes come true for this day?...the Horse is gonna settle in for some many sporting thangs...that dot the pixels...yes, we went out yesterday to the super and it was absolutely SLAMMED!...couldn't find a parking spot in our fav market...so settled for number, well, last...masks?...yup, the people are abiding by the 'rule'...

YES, did play some Christmas vinyls yesterday...if you don't have a Johnny Mathis one, er many, you are missing out on one of the best, if not THE BEST!...he is up there...I own about 30 of the vinyls, Christmas ones...and lots of diff folk on them...just to name a few...the Carpenters, Alabama, Reba, Carrie, Sara, Frank, Phil Spector, Michael Buble, Doris Day, Connie Francis...the list goes on...

Some times history passes me by...it did in school...but the formation of Israel is one of the most fascinating stories out there...how the then newly formed NATO decided upon them as a state...but, before that even, in the early 1900's, I had no idea that the Turks dominated the Middle East...catch this on CNN and it may blow your mind...Jerusalem...and more...

Had some very nice comments and texts about the birth of Jesus Christ, that I talked about in the blog yesterday...I feel the warmth of the voices...it truly is a life shaping thing...did I say that right?...

Around midnight last eve...there was a commotion of some people walking the streets below us...obviously feeling no pain...which made me wonder, if there was any bar open last nite?...when I passed thru the Gaslamp earlier, there was nuttin...the life in a city...

Just wandered out on the back deck (7:30 am) and saw but one car, a cop...and a concierge dude hustling to work...and a bloke walking in blue jeans, with a malacca, and sporting flip flops...only in SD...

Well, not certain how everyone deals with this time of the year...it's a wide open season of mysteries...yet, I wish you the very merriest Christmas of all...
