Forty Six


Might not seem too bad for you...but around here, it is...46*!...that is what we woke up to...for the past 2 days, we have tested out our heating system....as we rarely use it...thus, it must be winter....even in south SoCal...North Face all over the place...don't be too concerned, as it will rise up to 58*, which is also really really cold for here...clear and sunny, tho...so much for my weather report...

The nite belonged to Steph Curry in the NBA...as he led his Golden St Warriors to another win...in NYC at the Garden...but the significance, was that he took over the 3 point all time leadership from Ray Allen...as he has led a change in how the game is played...everyone shoots the 3 ball now...'offenses' are now masked in the launching of 'em...making the use of the big man, a far cry from what is needed...worse, is the 5 man movement in the O...it is gone...it is what it is, and I suppose better for the fans...I dunno...

The debacle in PDX...the once proud Blazers are in shambles...so much blame is directed towards the new HC Chauncey Billups...but, the cast of characters he is saddled with...gives him NO CHANCE for success...they gave up a fight last night in their OT loss to the Suns...but Lordy, Dame played most every minute of the game, and coming off an injury...he had no legs at the end...?...brace yourself Portland faithful, you are in for a lengthy ride of discomfort...

Mark Meadows...as he does to every one that surrounds him...trump will use him as his latest fall guy...the brunt of all the protection...as these people somehow get swallowed up in his lies and deceit...eventually, trump turns on them...all of them...let's them take the prosecution...or, persecution...as we witness the coup attempt and it's contributing factors...I just can't understand why anyone would get involved with him...unless there is money involved...the promise of...what is this, a flim flam man?...

As I greatly feared, by the time the news sources have talked about it...Omicron is already all over the world...the variant is everywhere...

I thought you'd like to know...where are the majority of the major weapons made in the world?...gosh, by golly, you'd think that it had to be China....where, seemingly, everything is made...NOPE!...right here in the good ol USA...37%...followed by Russian at 20%...and fastly rising, is France...really...who'd a thunk...

Toyota (Lexus) continues to work themselves into the electrical car company...as we have limits of time that cars made will be electric...not only do they manufacture a great car, but their innovation is unparalleled...c'mon USA...er, Ford, Chevy, and Dodge...Ford appears to be the leader thus far...

Finally, this date...December 15th, 1980...our son was born...8 lbs 10 oz...one Cristopher Allan Joseph Shepard...his middle names were due to my dad's name and the Boss Lady's dads name...and that is what my middle names are...and now, when Cris and Leila had their son, they named him Cyrus Allan Joseph Shepard...anyhoo, happy birthday to our son...number 41...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
