What is this Daylight?


For blokes like me, at 6 am...there is light, and not dark...which means I can golf earlier...thanks to the Fall Back time...for the hard earning daily workers, it means they CAN'T until this season is OVER...at 5, when they get off work, it is near pitch black...thus, advantage oldsters...which is the entire legislation of ALL the USA...shoot, the round is over at 11...drinks at 11:30...and the nap starts at 1...perfect...wait, am I talking Congress folk or golfers?...could be one the same...right, Lindsey Graham?...

The polls show that Prez B has his lowest approval RATINGS...at 38%...hmmm...OK...he just got the infrastructure bill passed...what do 'they' want?...the gamble of the car falling off the crumpled old bridge, while 'they' drive over it?...all right, not all polls are significant...especially knowing that very few people I KNOW, ever get polled... but somebody feels that way...could be a poll of 100 cattle ranchers in...well, you get me drift...

So many 'upsets' in the NFL this weekend...lord...did I tell you to never ever bet the games in that league?...who had Jax beating the Bills?...or the Broncos whupping the Cowboys in Arlington?...finally, the Giants beating anyone?...let alone the Raiders...hmmm...go figure...

Travel ban lifted...as the Euros can now make it over the pond into the USA to vacay...OC, must be fully vaxxed...but, this adds $ to the coffers of the business here...on the other hand, LA, is going a different way...you MUST show vaccination documents to go inside most everywhere...and be masked up...just a BIG reminder of you are passing thru or staying in the city...this stuff varies from state to state...and I just carry a couple of masks and my proof 24/7...like I will when I get to Orygun this week...do they make masks that are rain proof?...asking for a friend...

In some religions one can have multiple wives...why can't that be reversed?...one wife can have multiple husbands?...seems fair...can YOU imagine either way?...'No, Not Me' the Orlons...

As I was bedding down last eve, Boss Lady was watching a cooking show...the 3 'chefs', ah, all ladies...were dealing with a Xmas challenge...to win $25 grand...making the 'best' plaid cake...never seen such a thing...I stayed up to see the results...'the chef's' all did great...still can't figure out how they did it...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
