Judgement Day


This Rittenhouse Case...could this be judgement day?...the jury has done day 1...no verdict yet...does that mean there is dissension amongst the 12?...seems to me, that we are at a crossroads on what is proven and what is not...that needs clarification...what can be allowed in court...that is better...imagine in this particular court room, with this particular judge...having to watch what you say, as an attorney...when the ruling body appears to be not all there...who judges the judges?...

I think the picture represents a different Judgement Day...but, ya'll get me drift...right?...

The bizarre rant by Steve Bannon, after he was released...makes me wonder what is allowed and what is not?...seems that anything goes...this after watching the 4 year debacle of the trump at the helm of our country...where HE said and did anything he wanted...regardless of law or Constitution....no greater example than his attempted coup of Jan 6...now, like above, how can one prove it in a court of law?...one thing, is to do it in Congress, but in a court room?...

More double talk...my concern about the bloke who says he is gonna run for Prez in '24...man, I even hate to bring this up...Chris Christie...who was interviewed by Nicole Wallace...not only in his latest novel (joke) did he not bring up any affiliation with Fox News...but when point blank asked about Tucker (rhyme?) Carlson, he had no knowledge of what he has said...oblivious, or just evasive?...ah...

Let's mosey over to the NBA hoops...where the Golden St lads were in Brooklyn taking on the Nets...most pundits had the Beard/KD squad whupping the Curry crew...ha ha...just the opposite happened...as it was no match...loved it...and in the college scene...BYU absolutely destroyed the Ducks...badly...in PDX...I know UO starts slowly every season, but this year will be a challenge...not sure if the talent is there...and it's ALL about talent...

The BSBCS (football, duh) listed their top 4 yesterday...1. Georgia  2. Alabama  3. Oregon  4. Ohio St....hmmm, and yet Vegas has Utah a 3 point fav over UO this week...without a doubt, poster board fodder...

The end of season 2 of Longmire is extremely intense, kids...geez, if you have not captured this Netflix series, you are missing out...the Horse would not steer you wrong...

CNN reports...hey, TT, maybe FOX is, too...that YOUR Thanksgiving dinner supplies are harder to get...naming the whole bird, the gravy, the cranberry sauce, and the pies...the most critical...THEY are suggesting you buy this stuff now...and not later...

I dunno how many wonderful peops read me blog in this particular building...but, I have a complaint that maybe you do too...we have been issued new water sensors...that have this highly annoying green flash that beams everywhere...can this be adjusted?...what say you?...write to your Congressman!...well, to the board chair...fix this!!!...

This is your leader?...Marge Greene...she is unvaccinated and proud of it...has been fined $60,500 for not wearing masks on the Congressional floor, and proud of it...and will stand strong for all those who think like she does, throughout the country....she is a Rep from Georgia...they all should be so proud of her and her stances....

OK then...Cosmo is awaiting...the bags are packed...the food is in the refer...the dawg is ready...the bikes will be loaded...what are we missing?...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
