Excellent Timing


The overview of the Horse trip to the Pacific Northwest was all about TIMING!...just missed the torrential pouring of the rains...got a bit, on Thursday, and early Friday...the rest of the time?...warmth...like high 50's and low 60's...terrific weather for this time of year in that area...of course, me hosts, the Snookis were greeeaaat...I think I was starting to smell, thus, the exit was needed...the reason for the trip?...the Duck game...

When we first came up with this...figured the weather would be inappropriate for a San Diegan...yea, so I bought a rain coat, that I do NOT need in south SoCal...turned out, I didn't need it in the Willamette Valley, either...the game...vs the Cougars of WSU...was a beaut...a fine 2nd half by the Duckees, and we went home happy clowns...as the positioning of UO nationally should be about the same...in the running...

2 more regular season tussles...both good ones...at Utah and hosting the Beavs...if it is to be, will get those...one at a time...one at a time...

Believe it or not, there are other things happening outside of my little world...

Steve Bannon...the trump cohort...snubbed his nose at the latest House of Reps subpoena over the Jan 6 coup...when donny was in office, he advised his people to disregard them...he has the pardon...not any more, dude...as Bannon turned himself in for refusal of honoring the subpoena...the Feds have him...don't run too far, Mark Meadows, you are next...and anyone else who thinks that they can get away...this is a good thing...shoot, just roust out big orange and get on with it...

A lot of hullabaloo about the GB Packers QB Aaron Rodgers...and his refusal and lies about getting the Covid vaccinations...right?...so he is allowed to play yesterday...ah, did he get the shots?...what is this all about?...he got the Covid...and ...I dunno...

Get this...to pass the gates to enter the Autzen Stadium and be witness to the Duck/Coug game...you HAD to show that you were vaccinated and a proof of ID...so, the assumption had to be...everyone in there, had to be protected...yet, they constantly bellowed out that masks must be worn, if not eating or drinking...hmmm, who are you protecting yourself from?...my Republican side of me said, what gives?...

Not sure where this is coming from...but, the leaked story is that VP Harris and Prez B are not getting 'along'...I have tried like the dickens to uncover what the heck this is...but, so far, to no avail...stay tuned...

The Rittenhouse trial is coming to an end...and the National Guard has been called out...'just in case'...500 strong ready and able...what you think?...

Some dandy news...just released...Beto (O'Rourke) is gonna run for Texas's Guv position...to oppose that piece, Abbott...guess where I am leaning?...for 2022...these mid-election times...absolutely an eye opener...

For the most part, at games...I sit and watch...occasionally clap...stand up and cheer...high five...that sort of stuff...but I lost my voice 'boooooooing' on the inept call of a non-td in the UO/WSU game...I was not the only one...it was deafening...

Without a doubt...one of the funniest things I have seen a frustrated NFL coach do...the Seahawks elder dude, Pete Carroll...when he was challenging yet another blown call by the refs...couldn't find his red challenge flag...OR...thought he had, and dropped an 'electric hand warmer' in lieu....great tv...OK, in this case, bad timing...ha ha

Anyhoo, back today for a few...then we go camping for a few...just more bee bop and scamping around...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
