The biggest surprise on my docket?...witnessing the passage of the INFRASTRUCTURE BILL by Congress..don't know why, but I didn't think it would go thru...there was just enough crossover votes from the Repubs, to carry it...no that there wasn't crossover votes from the Demos against it...which brings me to this...do these elected officials vote the way their constituents want?...or do they vote the way they THINK their constituents SHOULD desire?...er, spinelessly, voting via party lines...only...

The bill itself has plenty of relief for the roads and bridges that are crumbling throughout the land...the improvement of mass transit...more electrical stations and electrical mass transit items...broadband connections for the hard to get to parts of the country, er, the web net...and more, the creation of MILLIONS of jobs!...point is, something that we need in the worst way, as much of our passage ways are almost 100 years old...

Have you tried to hold your stomach when you have heard the 'reasoning' of Aaron Rodgers for not getting vaccinated for the Covid 19?...now he has it, and has infected how many others?...I can think if nothing else other than he is a selfish arse...he is now taking ivermectin to ward off the virus...seems about right...

Speaking of...well, the YouTube has some great stuff on it...we watched again, the spoof of Jeopardy...from SNL...we absolutely belly laugh from some of the caricatures...Tom Hanks was brilliant, as was Natalie Portman...but the show stopper is the dude who plays Sean Connery...find it and you will scream!...

Yes, the Horse did hit yesterday the Breeder's...TVG is offering a thang...up to $10 a race...if you wager to win on a horse, and it doesn't win...and comes in 2nd or 3rd, you get your money back...I missed only one race, outright...most came in 2nd...but hit two, and won over $100 on day one...day 2 today...

Some dandy collegiate football games today...Army at the entire Air Force....just count on one hand the number of passes thrown...Wake Forest (undefeated) at North Carolina, who is favored?...Ohio St at Nebraska (the dudes last game as HC)...Michigan St (undefeated) at Purdue, smelling upset?...Navy at Notre Dame, the Coast Guard doesn't have a D-1 team, or the Irish would have had them instead...LSU at 'Bama....?...Oreg St at Colorado, giving 11.5 only?...what?...and the biggee for us Duck fans...UO at the Dawgs, giving 7...hold on to your rain gear...

Oh my, a concert in Houston...geez, lots happens in that city, right?...at least 8 people DIED from a rush to the stage...over 300 treated with injuries...Travis Scott's Astroworld Festival...this is Kylie Jenner's boy friend and baby daddy...can't make this stuff up...with one on the way...oh my...oh my...

Did you know...that many of these fine race horses that run at the Breeder's...are FLOWN back home, wherever that is, via FedEx airplanes, amongst others...very precious cargo...
