Critical Race Theory


CRT...Critical Race Theory...do you know what this is?...well, it has been a sounding board for many people...especially parents who fear the idea of it taught in the public schools...they are not so concerned that it is brought up in the collegiate system...or, are they?...

But, do you know what it really is?...often asked of voters in the recent election for Guv in Virginia...it was used as a hot topic, which was used to differentiate the Repubs from the Demos...most that were asked, did not know what it was...just that 'it will not be taught in our schools!'...OK, it is not...

It has been a 40 year process of examining what the racial divide has been in our country...how and why it is what it is...for some reason, it has been a feared topic...shoot, you want a race theory, study how the Native Americans were to be assimilated into the white world...ah ha, but that is another day, and another topic that needs an anagram...this has to do with the Black Americans and how they were...for better terms...assimilated...or, were not...

There are books that highlight the moments of slavery...that are out there...that many folk don't want to be used as textbooks...whatever you may think, it is a very dark side of American history...some education systems would love to get into it, but the concept has been put away...let others deal with it...or in later years...

This is more of the division that came about due to the previous regime that engulfed our land...probably more so since the '50s of the past century...which continues to be a sounding board for many...I guess the idea of disregarding of what happened is somehow thought to be better...let's study other things in history...just not this...

Listen, kids it is a sound bite for many...that don't want to have their kids study it...true or false?... 

And now, let's go elsewhere...

Jobs...the numbers out today are (is?) a positive...up 531,000...really don't know how they come up with these figures...I go by what I see, and it seems like there are people working everywhere...ha ha...just getting more scratch per hour, though...ah, has to be ARE...

There is an investigation ongoing on the owner of the Phoenix Suns (NBA) and the Phoenix Mercury (WNBA)...Robert Sarver...read the report from ESPN...lord, alleged?...power by intimidation, isn't that about gone?...he needs to study the CRT, too...

Today the Breeder's Cup commences...almost any of these fine animals can win their race...they have the finest jockeys here, too...out at Del Mar...yes, the Horse will wager on the horses...online...

Don't hate me cuz I like to see the Lakers lose...but, they have lost twice to one of the poorer teams in the league (including last eve)...the Oklahoma City Thunder...BUT, to be fair, both teams play hard...especially OKC...with actual movement in their O...really...and they do have one of the true top 10 offensive players in the league...Shai Gilgeous-Alexander...he is one that gets no respect...just lacking support talent...like many of the 'other' teams in the league...

Beisbol...quitting while on top...Buster Posey, of the SF Giants...one of the very best catchers in all of the game...wonder if he will re-emerge as a manager one day...like many catchers do...

You want to vacay in Cancun?...rival gangs started a shooting em up thing on the BEACH...one group came in from a boat, so it is said...2 killed, and well, I dunno the rest...ah, no not me...no vacay there...

I'm not sure how this came into me head...but, one of the very best appetizers of ALL TIME...is the PF Changs lettuce wraps...tell me I'm wrong...

Thus far, NO XMAS TREES up in my view, out the deck...OC, it is Nov 5...

Just a wild guess, but this entry could be one of my biggest hits...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
