Black Friday


Red Wednesday, Blue Monday, and Green Saturday?...of all the colors, one could choose for the day after Friendsgiving...Black?...yea, I know...but still?...it is but a recent concoction of descriptive thangs...rumor is, that it started in Philly (like Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) by some cops...who marveled (complained) about the mass amount of vehicular and foot traffic in the city...1961...some say that it started much further back...in 1869, when a couple of investors, Gould and Fisk, caused a market crash...drove up the price of gold...I dunno, kids...some how it has to be tied to when the businesses actually make money, and go into the black...out of the red...whatever...

Your guy trump, doesn't miss a chance to try to steal the spotlight...like duh...actually asked the bloke Rittenhouse...the honor of visiting him at Mar-a Lago...and bellowed out this 'he's really good young guy'...OK then...he has chosen a peculiar way to climb to the ____...well, you know...

Wonder if donny is a bit hot under his white shirt collar?...the commission of the Jan 6 attempted coup is calling more and more and more people, closer to him...hmmm...and the news about the paid up telephones...non-traceable...that is downright interesting...linked to Eric and his wonderful wife...and Mark Meadow...allegedly...that the 'protestors' had to keep in contact with the 3 (and more) named above...while in action...and so it goes...

The Ducks did a nose dive to number 11...after the debacle at Utah...will they find themselves prior to the Beavers coming to Eugene on Saturday?...which brings me back to my old coaching days of hoops...I would have a player, seemingly, every year...that would miss a mandatory practice to go see the 'Civil War' game...ah, whatever it is to be called now...they chose, it, and I sat them in game 1...tough, or ornery, old coot...and it was ALWAYS a starter...well, not game 1...

Watched a full concert of Paul McCartney last eve on YouTube...circa '05 or '06...he was unbelievable...find it and dig it...that good...

The Horse hasn't hit the links in over 2 weeks...and has a T coming up late next week...so, have 3 practice sessions prior to that...egads...let's see if I can remember what I was doing...was it good?...hmmm, I can't recall nuttin...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
