A Dangerous Precedent

This Rittenhouse verdict got me a thinking more
...so much as I got up at 2 am...couldn't sleep much...as Steve Kerr, the Golden State Warriors Coach said 'this is a dangerous precedent'...yes, indeed...

This depends on where you live...what state...but, think about this...you decide that you are interested in the goings on at a trump revival...talk to your neighbor, and ask if you can 'borrow' his gun...like, just in case...go to it, and while there...a couple of the attendees recognize that you are not one of them...come after you, and you fear for your safety...shoot 'em dead...and that's OK...

The Jan 6 coup...if one is to plead safety, why then could a defendant of the Capitol not shoot a 'protestor?'...shoot 'em dead...

Somehow, the judge in the Rittenhouse trial made a big deal that he was 17...when in reality, an 18 yr old can join the armed service, and fight and defend the country...ah, one year...hmmm...

The protestors who were killed by Rittenhouse, were there as such for 'Black Lives Matter'...defending the notion...was this racially decided?...did that come up?...as if, what was the makeup of the jury?...I know this is touchy grounds, but c'mon....it is real...

Deeper...the trump regime's time in office was full of protesting...his relentless babbling about the protestors...of his constant need for affection...his insecurities gone rampant...and then, his nationwide meeting with the governors of the states...calling those who he deemed not following his lead 'WEAK!'...his incessant battle cry that he gave out to all who didn't buckle under his bullying...this from every single book that I have read about the bloke...all of the authors served for him at some time in his rule...in fact, the real 'WEAK' person in the room, was trump himself...

My point?...we had countless 'protests' while he was in office...how many since Prez B has tried to resurrect the country?...right...or when Prez O and Prez Bush were in office?...right...nothing like when the divider was squatting in the White House...are we still reeling from the chaos?...how many judges did he appoint?...226...at first I thought that was big, but others did more...so, I could be going down a wrong road there...but, 'if' they felt like he does...then, it is a problem...

Social media has taken off after the jury deliberated...and not in the positive vein...so many people, fearing what will come next...back to the wild Wild West?...

BUT...perhaps, it is not as bad as one thinks...that it could be as simple as the prosecution did a horrific job of handling the case...which many in the know, are saying...and, the judge put extreme qualifiers in motion...not allowing key things to be brought up...the combination of the two, made the conviction a near impossibility...

Whatever, I fear for a rocky next year...at protests, rallies, revivals, and most any 'political' gatherings...listen, kids, if but one person is shot dead...in the allowance of guns, used for 'self defense' from this trial...we are in deep trouble...yes, I fear this...
