Horse's Top 10


I think you are all in the need of a vagabond top ten list of something...we seem to be obsessed with numeration of the best and worst of...anything...Letterman made a name for himself doing the gig...which I always looked forward to...especially, when he had people reading off the stuff...ah, do any of us consistently watch the late night shows anymore?...Letterman, Leno, Carson, were the ones we would stay up for...now?...anyway, I digress...it's time for the Horse's Top Ten crapola for the day...it's just one man's opinion, and you may differ...that's OK...I mean, you may have voted for donny, and I'll never understand that...

10.  Britney Spears no longer has a conservator watching over her every moves...so, is the judgment of a judge...how old is she?...c'mon...but after trump, naming so many new judges throughout the land, I am not too trusting of the system anymore...are you?...what happened to the vote of the public to get these people into the land of the gavel?...

9.   The picture of the mother and son, who died after falling from the 3rd concourse at Petco Park, is absolutely disheartening...not sure if you can judge (that word again) much by a picture, but it just breaks my heart to see it...was it an accident?...how could this happen?...too many sketchy things let out to the public thus far...

8.   The NBA...pro hoops kids...is mandating that all the players and coaches MUST be vaccinated...and there are blokes who still say they won't...what is wrong with these guys?...they must be afraid of the needle or...they are totally ignorant...which might be the combination of the two...and if you tell me it's because of religion beliefs, you need to check out that religion mighty closely...

7.  The Gabby death...it is so disconcerting how little is let out to the public...as to how she died...the coroner says she was killed...but how?...where did they find the body?...and the continuance...not being able to round up the fiancé...Dog is on the case, now...is this a symbol of how incompetent the police department in that area actually is?...listen if this sort of thing happened in Turner, Oregon...the case would be closed by now...

6.  We have this Netflix obsession with the show 'Longmire'...the way we see it, it had to have been on Natty tv...not sure...do you know?...have you seen it?...but, it does have breaks in the telecast, that sure appear to be advertisement times...inquiring minds want to know...

5.  The new iPhone 13 will be in our hands today, so the shipment thang says...am really interested as to what the camera will and can do...differently...Boss Lady has an older phone than mine, so she will really be intrigued and happy...and we know we have to keep the BL happy...

4.  Not sure how this works...but ancient Senator Mitch McConnell just announced that a government funding deal WILL go through, thus, to avoid a shut down...he talks, and the rest of the pack listens and follows suit...wouldn't it be a joy, to see these 'elected officials' make their minds up ALL BY THEMSELVES?...maybe that should be !....

3.  You forevers can turn away on this...but, the two new books about the demise of trump...are out, one this week and the other next...and the Horse will get 'em and read 'em...one mighty say, why?...he is out of office...yet, his impact is still being felt...he was worse than I thought...and that was really really bad...worse than that...I wanna read it...then, I will tell you all about it...

2.  I promised to not write about the sad Padres...but, dang it all, this one was a beaut...up 9-6 on the Bums last eve...the management brought in a relief pitcher that has been banged around real well the past SEASON...the rule is, that if you bring in a RP, he MUST face 3 batters...he did, and gave up 3 home runs to the 3 guys he faced...and the manager left him in!...OK, get rid of them all...Tingler, too...

1.  Shakira...the 'hips don't lie'...the sanger...said she was attacked in Barcelona, Spain...by a pair of...wild boars...what?...they walk the streets?...ah, the boars...really?...and we think we have problems in our streets...were they hungry?...why would they attack?...how'd she get away, or did they maul her?...too much info left to hear about...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
