World Humanitarian Day


Oh my, if there was ever a misnomer, this is the one...World Humanitarian Day...as the chaos in Afghanistan continues...those who can, get out...but, to where?...Europe has taken on so many others, that have fled the Middle East...they are balking at more...of course, the forevers are ranting about the possibility of them in our shores...Canada?...maybe the better terminology is World Migration Day...

How many American lives have been lost in Afghanistan?...estimated at 2500 soldiers...and get this, over 4000 US civilian contractors!...which was triggering Prez B to finally pull the plug on a very precarious 20 year encampment of US people there...the debate is on about how and when...to end this mess...what else what you call it?...

As that country returns...digresses...to a very bizarre and disturbing way of mankind...the suppression of women...the lack of need for schooling...unless it is for religion...brutal dictatorship...

Talk about nonsense...one of the Ball Bros... they who have infiltrated the NBA...let out his 'insights' on the lack of need for schooling...who needs it?...he didn't go much...certainly not to college...and I don't think he went to the last couple of years of high school...did his daddy home school him?...well, if he did or didn't, he said he didn't need it...I would skip interviewing that bloke...'who ball?'...

There was a time that the mighty Padres were trying to land this dude from Japan...Shohei Ohtani...who was purportedly a two way player in beisbol....pitcher and hitter...well now, we didn't get him...the Angels did...he just has hit his 40th home run this season...and his pitching mighty fine, thank you...congrats to him...and them...and yet another boo to AJ...

The Padres limped home from a horrible roadie to Arizona and Colorado...winning but once...the horror of it all...now face a home stand that makes or breaks the season...the Phillies and the Bums...fingers crossed, but I have me doubts...

The skins...remember them?...the Washington Redskins...dropped the name...and have been searching for some time for another....even went with the Washington Football Team for awhile...goofy...have settled in this patch of 8 possibles...here we go...Armada, Presidents, Brigade, Redhogs, Commanders, Redwolves, Defenders, and WFT....I would add the Forevers...

So...this I don't get...we KNEW that the Taliban would eventually take over Afghanistan...we KNEW it...thus, all the confidants in there, must have thought they could get out whenever...right?...but, the speed of the seizure was so fast...ah, 11 days...who messed up on the guess here?...if it was inevitable...then why oh why were we there in the first (and last) place?...who is kidding who?...20 years of kicking around an impossible  situation...how many Presidents did we have in this time?...the BLAME shall be shared...

Now I know that some of you never ever eat a dessert...we do...if we have 'em...last eve, we hungered for one...alas, nothing was in the freezer or on our shelves...drat!...yet, the search was on...something, yes something must be there...EUREKA!...I found a package of pop tarts, left over from the Cosmo trip...popped them (we shared) in the toaster...yup, you guessed it...I burnt mine...totally black...and yea, I still ate it...

Finally, our good friend, and older elder senior from the great PNW, Snooki...turned us on to a plant that would survive the mysterious weather pattern here in south SoCal...the Porchulaca...a succulent...and it does what he said that it would do...closes up at night and blossoms during the day...just like the HORSE!....

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
