Throwback Thursday


Back in the day...40 years ago...our boy...as HIS boy went to his FIRST pre-school yesterday....where has the time gone?...

BREAKING...explosion outside of Kabul airport...and NOW the war is back on!!!

To be completely candid, we had to cancel our trip to Maine...due to the ongoing strife of the Covid...perhaps, Variant...I dunno...or the lack of availability of the booster shot prior to us boarding a plane...FOUR TIMES...if half of the population is NOT vaccinated, it seems to be a poor bet to fly...how long does the Moderna last?...it's too bad, cuz we really wanted to go...to be with friends in an area where we have never been...hopefully, next year...

Speaking of bets...in the open air, we go to Del Mar...race track today...our only jaunt out to the park...this season...and yes, we have put our masks everywhere...man, this is a very unsettling time of life...right?...

Have yet to hear back from the Lexus rebuild, and I fear the $ that they are gonna charge...going to be a whopper...hey, I have not had a Whopper in at least 5 years...and I am the poster child for Wimpy...just don't go to that franchise...In-n-out yes...Mickey D's yes...Habit Burger yes...Jack no...Wendy's no...Burger King no...

Took 16 innings for the Bums to beat us...will say that the SP Blake Snell, was awesome for the Friars...BUT, the Mgr held him in for 122 pitches...his most ever...and well, you know the story...we are now in the can't hit mode...if we bunted, we would have won...to say that this team is not run right, is a truth...from the GM on down...as negative as this is, we are still one game outta of the WC...I did it, I watched 'em....but, it is hard to do...knowing how mismanaged we are...

A stat that came out...that this was the worst year in a long time for the American car makers...duh...nobody moved...nobody went anywhere...hunkered down...many didn't or couldn't work...

I know you forevers have opinions...but the day that trump met with the Taliban at Camp David...was an absolute brutal moment in the history of the presidency...one of his many...

Perhaps, tied to the aforementioned whiz (sarcasm)...life, as we know it, is in disarray due to the half of the Nation not getting vaccinated...and what I say next, will maybe bother you...

When somebody is jailed or incarcerated for talking another into suicide...a girl friend, boy friend...lover...whatever...when a leader ( perhaps of a congregation ) suggests that you don't get vaccinated cuz it's God's will...and the people follow his word, get Covid and die...isn't that the same?...shouldn't they be jailed or incarcerated ?...maybe a politician, too?...

'Just give me money'...Jim and Tammy Faye...

It's not up to the Horse, but I would certainly grant his wish...you forever are now 'Ye'...

Didn't Ye run for president?...of the USA?...Ye 4 Prez...and got votes...did you vote for Ye?...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
