Smokey in San Diego

I posted this last eve at the Smokey Robinson Concert over at the bay...'Smokey in San Diego'...little did I think of it as another meaning...as Wild Bill Chapman, responded 'it is smoky everywhere'...right...ah, got it...well, definitely the case up and down the west coast...BUT, I was referring to the one and only...man, he can still sing...Ooh Baby Baby...actually had to debate with a bloke who said he never sang that song...to be fair, he didn't deserve to be in attendance...

Our seats were back a bit...but, really, there are NO BAD SEATS in this new venue...and the sound is terrific...food is an issue, you must order ahead of time...but, the refreshments?...all over the place...I'm still looking for the new Mt. Dew hard stuff...and there are ushers everywhere to help you find your way...all in all, a rousing A+...we have Brian Wilson there in a week or so...this time closer, and at a table...

Not sure why this it not mentioned much...but there is resistant fighting going on in Afghanistan to the Taliban...7 cities are in battle...why isn't this covered?...something sure is fishy about the whole thing...was there a compromise before we departed?...ah, as we depart...with the Taliban?...

As we near our trip across the US, like all the way across...up in New England they are bracing for a couple of whoppers...storms, with rain issues set at 10 inches...blustery winds...wonder if that will affect our plans?....(H)enri appears to be the bigger of the two...

We biked yesterday...as I have added a mirror to my helmet...can't believe I didn't have one all along...the Boss Lady wants one now...ordered...

Last month, maybe longer...I got a vinyl...NEW...that is a 2 record set of 'Doo Wop Memories'....just opened last eve...gosh, it was and is so rad...groovy?...hip...to say it is boss is an understatement...crystal clear...love it...

The mighty Padres?...eeked out a win last eve vs the Phillies...a much needed one...did not see any of it, but it was a come from behind thing...that is always a plus....one more with them today, and then the Bloody Bums...who just keep right on a winning...

The last Everly Bros just past...at 84...Don...they were the epitome of duets...so many great songs...Cris and I saw them in Concert, Anaheim, when he was in college at Pomona...circa 2000...

Seems we look back at our last Cosmo trip, and think about stuff we need to add or alter to the RV...always...curtains to shade the latrine...done...places to put our glasses when we retire for the evening...pillows and pillow cases...holders for cups, that won't rattle...one thing we sorely need, is a much bigger Nav...

Donny did a revival in 'Bama yesterday...and was thoroughly booed by his forevers, cuz he told them 'that they needed to get their Covid vaccinations!'....this is what he has as his...

Australia is going thru this, too...a lock down of sorts...cuz there are alarming numbers of Covid there...BUT, there are non-believers hitting the streets to protest...lord...they are everywhere...
