Kabul Killings

Are there answers?...this ongoing mess of diplomacy in the uncontainable country of Afghanistan....2 factions are there to fight it out...the Taliban and ISIS...whatever...as we get, or try to get, our people and the helpers OUT of that situation...a few days ago, I guaranteed to my readers...that we would strike them again...for a myriad of reasons...we already have a couple...

The loss of humanity by suicide bombers...as the people want and wait to get to the Kabul airport...their God must be different...as the lack of care for those who live in the now...just don't get it...and never will...they seemingly don't have empathy for people who differ from them...thus, do away with them...is that the word of the Lord?...theirs?...I guess this is why we have wars...

The battle of the networks to cover this was not as bad as I would think...on hold, was the blame game...how did we let it happen?...we did not...20 years of inevitability...just the longer we stayed, the more we encircled within our sphere...

Moving on...

The free falling Padres got humbled, swept, and shut out last eve by the Bums...listen, kids, the at bats by many of our blokes were downright atrocious...is it futility, stress, or lack of ability?...regardless, there are dudes who are going to lose their jobs over this baseball demise...yes, there is hope...still...but the indicators do not point that way...yes, I finally saw a Trib article doing the questioning of GM AJ...normally, a 'leave alone' thang...not any more...they are seeing what I am...

The annual trip out to Del Mar Race Track...fun, kind of...Thursdays are harsh...long shots...that you can cash in on...but, reading the Racing Form, can be a real trick...the favs don't come a running...let's juts say me empire is not what it used to be...yes, that is moi, at one of the betting machines...I shoulda picked the one button that said, 'random choice'...

No word back from the Lexus rebuild program...probably have to search far and wide for some parts for that '04 rig...112,000 miles on it...why, it's almost brand spanking new...well, after the fix it back up is done...

Going out to Singing Hills in a bit...early tee...but, I want you all to do this...go to your iTunes, Pandora, library, whatever...and find the Andrew Sisters...or a vinyl, if you got one...sit back and listen to some fantastic songs by these gals from the 40's...I guarantee ya, it will brighten up YOUR DAY!...
