Chaos (Again)

The brutal scene of the people of Afghanistan trying to get to the airport...to flee the country that will be retaken by the Taliban...the words do not do it justice...20 years of establishing a government to help them...how many years did the Russians try, too?...we do not understand nor comprehend, the actions of the Taliban...the dominance and suppression of women...by man, well, their men...it will return...who do you want to blame for this?...the efforts?...the people that were trying to civilize the nation?...apparently, it was not enough...right?...so eerily similar to Vietnam...

For many many years, the world has seen us, the USA, as the policing country of the entire earth...no longer...we are not, and should not be...help, yes...guide, yes...but no, Mitch, bombing them is not the answer...listen, we have enough trouble right here in our borders...we are battling racial divide like we haven't seen since the 50's and 60's...and before...people can be very hard to figure out...

We move our military like they are pawns on a chessboard...with politicians making the moves...quite often without the advice of the military leaders...who are trained exactly for this...stinging in my ears, was this quote by trump "I know more than the generals do"...CHAOS...here we go again...

The school systems...with or without masks...those who have opened, many have severe amounts of Covid...just as they get into the buildings...and, the politicians, get involved...so utterly stupid NOT to get the shots...and equally, to not wear the masks...as we wallow in the mire of sickness...

OK, the Pads...Jr came back and hit 2 home runs, a double, and a bases loaded single...ah, think we don't need him?...if we were in the AL, he would have been our DH during his down time...watched the Bums last eve...man, they are loaded...can we beat them?...will find out next week...where we stand...right, you heard me say rock bottom, yesterday...we were...

In the past month, the Horse has played at golf ONCE...and very poorly, I might add...this am, I am going back out and try my luck...cuz, that's about all I can think of...
