The Bucks!


The lack of complexity in the NBA is now so so simple...it is more of a in your face play...BUT...the difference in the 6th and final game in this series...was the pattern play (after time outs) of the champs, the Milwaukee Bucks...the semblance of order of the 2nd place team, the Phoenix Suns, was highly missing...they play way too much one on one...even less pick and roll than most 'coached' NBA teams use...which are hard hard shots...

The MVP was without a doubt, Giannis Antetokounmpo, the multi talented big from the Bucks...50 points in the closing game...when the Milwaukee Coach Bud, got drilled repeatedly from the press...I wondered why?...as he made more adjustments than the other guy...nevertheless, as one of my coaches from my past...would say...'scoreboard'...indeed...


Changing up so much...school is around the corner...and the powers to be, want the masks worn by the students...hmmm...some are saying the teachers and administrators, too...let's start with inoculating the people...sometimes, we make things so difficult, rather than do the obvious...

Seriously, JCC about the Bezos launch and recovery...way too much coverage of this...

Apparently, the Japan Olympics is a go after all...some games have already started...no fans?...hollow to moi...wait until it is safe...for all...first out, one of our strengths...the ladies soccer...got beat by Sweden 3 nil...it's gonna be a strange set of games...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
