Ka Boom


The Cosmo got to Orygun....Valley of the Rogue....we set in...put our feet in the Rogue, as it was 98*...got back to rustle up dinner...watched some TV...then..aka Boom!...Thunder and lightning, right above us!...30 minutes of it...as we huddled in our little tube of RV...rain, and lots of it...welcome back to the land of green?

5 hrs later we are in Reedsport....what a cool town...the site is on the bay...ah, cold tho...2 nites here...like cool better than hot...terrific...

The bloody bums got Scherzer and Turner...shit...that is a huge bummer...for 4 minor leaguers?...pathetic trade for the Nats...and for the rest of the National League...and the Pads...

The giants got Bryant from da Cubbies...the Yanks got Rizzo...and we got a RP...and get this, another OF!...why?...

There are a few more hours...we shall see...

China winning more gold than Us?...USA?....hmmm...

Life would be grand if we overtook the Bums...

I can’t be vegan...I like vegetables...but, I like meat,too...

We have seen the lack of agua up here...the rivers...Lake Shasta...

Can hardly wait to meet people in Salem and Bend....wish we were staying longer, but you know how guests start to smell...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
