Shark Season

It is June, and thus it seems to always roll around about this time...SHARKS!...west coast, east coast, Mexico, Hawaii, and gosh, wherever there is BAIT for them to eat, er nibble on...is it just me, or are these dudes getting closer and closer to shore?... news out of Florida that there have been attacks and well, go up to New England, there have been great white sightings...I do know, that when we were in Maui, we looked at the beautiful Pacific...waded in it, but did not linger...just the other day, great whites were spotted off the coast of Santa Barbara....egads...if we are indeed, in the water, my rule is to swim in the middle of all the peops...never at dusk or daylight...not sure these things see that well...

Got my 1st real haircut in 16 months the other day...as she said...'you are a new man'...well, without hair...asked for a 'shortened jobbie'...of course, got the military cut...and, between the LAST time and now...it was $13 dollars, now it is $17 bucks!...what percent hike is that?...30%!!!...

OK, Juneteenth is now a Federal Holiday...is it today?...that's what it says on my icalendar....not exactly sure...didn't trump try to change the date of it?...I blame him for the confusion...ah, yes, it is today...June 19...

The mighty (!) Padres looked up to their name last eve...an 8-2 romp over the Redlegs...ie, Will Myers hitting 2 dingers and purnt near one more, a double...awesome night for him and the pitching of the starter,  Paddack, with 11 k's...two more with Cincy, and then...in comes the bloody Bums...which will be on Natty TV, I am sure...

Out at Torrey, the leaders are Henley and Bland...sounds more like a law firm...never, ever heard of Bland before...lurking, like a shark, is Jon Rahm, just two back...

Another bizarre game in the NBA playoffs...as the Jazz (?) of Utah were up by 25 and blew it...as the LA Clips won the game and the series...without Kawhi...

Lots of people have been recommending the show 'Hacks' to us...so, we watched session 1, season 1...jury is out...ah, we are the jury...

Me lady got her finger worked on yesterday...hate to see her in pain...the numbing wore off...and she had ice and ibuprofen...egads...

Europe is debating...about allowing the Americans back in...Covid 19 gains...opening up...normalcy...perhaps...

Hmmm, this is Father's Day weekend...gotta milk this for all it's worth...a mega amount of time watching the Open...
