Jubilation!


The news that we could ditch our masks, if fully vaccinated, was terrific MUSIC TO MY EARS!...that started yesterday...however, when we went into Von's for our food shopping, it was not the norm...signs everywhere, to wear masks...so, reluctantly, we put ours on...when checking out, asked the cashier when the masks signs would come down...she said that they were not to enforce it anymore...hmmm...

Here at the home, the board delivered the great news, that masks were indeed, not necessary anymore....IF you are fully vaccinated...so, as we passed thru the lobby, taking the dawg out for her walk...we had our faces free...kind of felt guilty of something...man, it is so much easier to breath...without the bloody mask....


The listless Padres...have now lost 12 of the last 16 games...mired in a horrific slump...it is a loooong season, but c'mon boys, time to crank it back up...don't think the excuses are there...just not producing...ah, earn your pay, dudes...

Can't imagine I wrote about that before the Biden/Putin talks...I did...there has yet to be a release as to what was covered or said...and, if there was any compromise...wonder if donny q's name ever came up in jocular form?...

I think I told you that the Horse hooked up the SONOS system correctly (!) this time...and it sounds absolutely spectacular!...gots things coming out of everywhere...fun stuff...

The NBA...the Nets came back from a huge deficit and beat the Bucks in Brooklyn...I wrote that cuz somebody must give a crap...I don't...Jimmy Crack Corn...

We partied with them Mackles yesterday afternoon, to celebrate the mask free life, as we now know it...how long were we with those masks, anyhow?...16 months?...does that seem right?...

2 days that Southwest Airlines have stranded folk...gosh, we were so lucky...

Think we are bad, the DBacks were coasting for their 1st road win in over a month...gave up 4 in the 8th and lost their 21st straight road game to...this time the SF Giants...see, it could be worse...oh yea, and the Bums opened up Chavez and had like 51,000 fans there...the times they are a changin'...except for the DBacks...

Just read that Chris Paul is OUT for at least 2 weeks...tested positive for Covid I think...c'mon dude, get your shots...what is with this?...how dumb are these athletes?...go down to CVS, bare up your arm and get your inoculation...more...Kawhi is out for game 5 for the Clip Joint...hurt knee...

The heat wave has hit SoCal...but, we have a huge fog set in...wonder if it is out at Torrey, too?...the site of the US Open...go inland, just a bit, and it is sweltering HOT...keep going to the desert, and it's like 117* or so...oh my....

Finally...the prognostication for the Open...the winner has to hit it long and very straight...hmmm...that leaves the likes of Chamboo, DJ, and many of the big boppers out...I like Rahm's chances...ah, he did get his shots, right?...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
