Hurry Up and Wait


Morning kids, from the adult playground of the USA...Las Vegas...100*, but it’s a dry heat...right...the city is inundated with...PEOPLE!...too many to be handled by the tables, slots, bars, restaurants and pools...to do anything, y’all have to wait in lines...OMG!...

The pools?...unbelievable around many corners at 9 am...we went at 2...the most we have ever seen in the pool...the restaurants?...expect at least an hour wait...unless you reserved months ago...our breakfast spot opened at 6:30... we were there at 7...55 minute wait...fuggit that, we took off to the Roasted Bean...terrific coffee and a muffin and egg sand...

Had a much better day at the betting...got most of my stash back...which I consider that a win...off track today...and the dinner is at 6...reservations in hand...the Heritage...

Prez B and the First Lady...at the G7 summit meeting...respect back for the USA...gone is the embarrassment of trump...

The mighty Padres are still missing their bats...we need a huge breakout...maybe when Grisham returns...what is the rumor about Hos being traded?...for whom?...

In the past year or so, we have lost some great people and friends...and I read about wonderful things people have to say about the departed...why can’t we do this while they are still living?...

So many stars are to perform here in Vegas...later on this year...not now...so many people with no place to go...to the pools, I reckon...

We were walking by the sports book yesterday, and heard a huge amount of noise...went over to see what was what...a soccer goal!...what?...

One of the things that we always do here, is saunter on over to the Bellagio to see the flower garden...here you go...

Good morning all, from the great state of Oregon...this whole trip is about FRIENDS!...meeting up with peops we have been with over our years in the PNW...and for Boss's reunion....the opening act was a combo party of the two at this pad, a bar, called Johnny's...simply said, it was fun... The stories were there, the faces remained the same...and it tickled moi, that so many FRIENDS showed up...unfortunately, I did not get enough time to talk to all, please forgive me...when you go back some 60 years, my memory does fade a tad...well, and so does their's...ha ha...believe me, it was worth the trip... Boss was one of the belles of the ball...yes, she still looks great...you know that....well, the rest of her class did not know that, until last eve...she was flitting (flirting) about so...which made me smile...and that is only the beginning of it...the REAL reunion is tonight...one of my FRIENDS reminded me that is the gals reunion...which I think is most reunions...it is for...

O Yeah!

When the thesaurus ran it's new version...it highlighted the word 'oration'...and there it was ... President Barack Obama...and then there is more..... see...Michelle Obama ...these two have the fundamental prowess of giving speeches...at the right time...at the right place... No better example of this, than last night at the DNC...each were marvelous...of course ...it's what people, special people, like these two...do...carry a message across the Nation...that we all can not only understand, but agree with... For seemingly years, the Horse has said...that if Michelle O wanted to be in the White House, AGAIN...this time as the President, and not the wife...she could ...however, for right now...she is supporting the right choice...for this time of the history of our country.... Tonight, we hear another exceptional orator...President Bill Clinton ...it's almost like taking a class in college...Speech 101...BTW, I was turrible at it...just in case you were wondering......

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?...
