Tuesday Tidbits


I think I may have touched on a very sore subject yesterday, the lack of knowledge of cryptocurrency by...most of us...judging by the numbers of readers...the lowest for some time...sorry, but I thought it was a necessary bit of information that needed to get out...it WILL become more and more of an item in the news, kids...at least you have heard of Ether now...

This is a very volatile topic...the rush to the border...the southern one...as people will do anything to get out of their country, and seek asylum in the USA...or a new life...that is safe...hardly...as there are people here, who will do anything to stop them from getting in America...or, run up a trump wall, to help hinder the move...as humanitarians, what is the right thing to do?...the right (?) wants to leave the problem to Mexico...listen, all, it is an extremely difficult issue...we do not have answers...

Herd immunity...I have never breached the this until now...as we have (the Gov't) established more and more vaccines available for our masses so we can get to this level of protection...yet, there are still some who think they don't need it...to save us all, and I do mean ALL...do your part and get vaccinated...

The death of a star from our era...the Rifleman's Johnny Crawford...known also as a pop singer, with the very catchy 'Cindy's Birthday'...remember this?...he died recently, as he was battling Alzheimers and sadly, passed due to Covid...75 years of age...

As we approach our much needed trip to Maui, I am reading that there are some staples that have closed permanently there...Ruth's Chris, where we celebrated 15 years straight of our anniversary, Bubba Gumps, and Aloha Mixed Plate...hmmm...the times have been tough on the local businesses...lack of tourists...

Let's get happier...the mighty Padres won game 1 vs them Bucs...2-0...great pitching and timely hitting...have I said that before?...yup, often...one of the stars?...Wil...go figure...

It took them 27 years to figure out it wasn't working?...Bill (Microsoft) and Melinda Gates are divorcing...just a wild guess, that there wasn't pre-nups back then...she will be just fine...what am I missing?...he wasn't caught with Stormy, too, was he?...

A Q for you winos...does it make any difference to the quality of the wine...if it is corked or sealed with a screw top?...OR, like in my lil wurman's case...put in plastic in a box?...inquiring minds want to know...

The BEST album of the day...'Hotel California' by the Eagles...'76...for it's time, it was driven by catchy, repeatable melodies...and lyrics...that we sung and hummed all the bloody time...recall a trip from Orygun, to Tahoe and all the way down to LA, as this was our mantra...stopped at a 'bar, filling station, restaurant combo' that had hippies all over it...ha ha, that sounded like ants...it was way cool for some ragamuffins from the PNW...we had arrived...or passed thru...and witnessed...


Speaking of the air fryer...well, ah, wait...if you do boneless chicken thighs in it...for 20 minutes, turn them over after 10...add teriyaki sauce then...and at 5 minutes...you will just go ga ga over the results...at 370*...trust the Horse...

Yes, this is the Tuesday Tidbit edition...fruitful?...ah, well...informative?...that was yesterday...interesting?...at times...redeemable?...of course...see ya tomorrow...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
