Throw It Back, Thursday




If it weren't for a little doggies needs, I'd still be a sleeping...ha ha...we are on HER schedule, whatever that is...she hasn't told us...even after 15 years...anyhoo, I am Up and rolling...on this fine 'Throw It Back, Thursday!'...

You see, if ya'll go to a MLB game...or watch it on the tele...you have LOTS of time to think of stuff...3+ hours of meditation...watching futility, too...think about this...a good hitting bloke hits, what they call .300...which means he gets hits 30% of the time...and goes OUT, you know strikes OUT, grounds OUT, flies OUT, 70% of the time...so the game is made up of negativism...from the get go...yea, the wife comes in and asks the Q, what's the score?...zero to zero?...ah, 0-0?...nada a nada?...

If you're at the ball yard, you probably eat and drink a plenty...at some very fine prices...fine, meaning overpriced...as you have gads of time to do so, and not miss any of the 'action'...it sounds like I am dissing the game of beisbol...but, dang it all, I am in...I like it, BUT I don't like the way the league tinkers with the rules....other than ONE...the instant replay...er, review...Blue is human, and is prone to making mistakes, just like any other human being...some make more...ha ha...and this corrects their inadequacies...

The rest of the rules, bah humbug...leave the game alone...'they' say it's for to quicken up the game...haven't seen that happen, yet...and isn't that in direct opposition to the owners way of garnering more $?...the longer the game, the more people eat and drink...at the fine prices...

Ah, what is the throw it back bit?...it is said...that the Cubbies did it first...a disgruntled bartender...legend says, anyhoo...when an opponent hits a home run into the stands...the patron, rather than keep the treasured MLB beisbol, throws the homer back onto the playing field...REJECTED!...stoopid stuff...but, gets the crowd fired up...perhaps, a bit too much of the fine food and beverages...oh yea, da Cubbies swept the Bums...sweetest sound I heard...


Man, that took a lot of print to get there...the mighty Padres won the series with the Pitt Pirates, albeit not attacking the rock like they can...I guess they can...let's just say, that the negative 70% was more like 85%...yet, still won...cuz of good pitching...and adequate D...off to the Bay Area to take on the league leading Giants...who are a half game up on us...hey, we have 18 wins, which ties the league lead...

Got a hit from a fan...well, a reader...Rozzy...our used to be back door neighbor in SE Salem...and she sends us her BEST album of the day...'Can't Buy A Thrill' by Steely Dan...great choice, my dear, and thanks for reading the Horse...!!!...

Some of you out there, profess to be the best steak griller of all time...'I am the greatest!'...well now, have you heard of this trick?...add sugar to your rub?...4 parts sugar to 3 parts salt...to get the greatest crust ever!...now, I haven't tried this yet...but will...you do the same and give me your results...

Beeezarre...a Florida teen and her VP mommy...rigged a homecoming queen election for her...and are facing 16 yrs in prison for the 'offense'...ah, what?...and trump's boys roam FREE, after rigging the 2016 election...'they' take those crowns mighty seriously in the Gator state...

Staying in the courts...a Texas lady voted incorrectly in the past election...BTW, the vote wasn't counted...she is getting 5 years in the pokey...yes, she is black...and in Pennsylvania...a dude voted, using his dead mother's name, and got 5 years PROBATION...he is white...ah, is this the diff from state to state...or?...

Mitch is back in the news...and as disgusting as ever...rather than unite a much divided country, he bellowed out that he would do anything to break Biden's regime...what a piece...

Finally, the Chinese are expecting a large rocket that they launched last week...to re-enter the Earth's atmosphere this weekend...and they don't know where...could be anywhere...for that, I give them the rights to all the Goyo beans they want...I know, doesn't make sense, but it doesn't that they would launch something without knowing where it would land...

Well, I guess not totally finale...we purchased Beach Boys tix for the May 29 extravaganza over at Petco...do it while there are still some available...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ...
