Meat Monger

A bloody 'meat monger'...isn't that like a 'fish monger?'...or like a bloke who pre-sips the wine you ordered, a sommelier?...BTW, who on earth came up with THAT spelling?...hmmm, a guide on a safari for you heathens, but one for a fishing trip for you normals...or a 'caddy' at an exclusive golf course...USED to be, you would go to an actual store (office?) that someone would set up a trip for you...travel agent...guess I am back in the never never land...does that cost extra?...I'll pick my own out, thank you...yes'm, I am cheap...

When was the last time you had one of these?...the yellow book...the phone book...the directory...and you would quickly search to see if you were in it, and had a good spot...ha ha...or, if you needed to be, or wanted to be...incognito, just your front initial was there, but no address...way cool...and then, the advertisements!...lawdy, countless pages needed...to call for pizza...GONE!...it's all gone, kids...why?...I think it would still have merit....don't you think?....

It was 97* out at Singing Hills...as we were playing at golf...in the middle of the round, I was feeling it...ah, the heat...turned to large amounts of water...and was just fine from there on...weird...shot an 83, with so many birdie putts left, ah left, right, long, or short...but tap ins for par...whatever...today I search for another putting weapon...it must be the stick, can't be moi...

The mighty Padres got game 1 vs the Giants...hardly an epic win, but c'mon, they all count the same...really terrific pitching and timely hitting by Profar...what buggeth me?...how Myers can take 3 straight strikes, without swinging the bat...in pressure times...we might as well have a pitcher swinging for him...one more thing...that can't be challenged...the awful strike zone that the ump had last nite...for BOTH teams...

News from the old time Repubs...well, the newly departed trump regime...that the raid on Rudy's home, the former minister of madness, could be very troublesome...for them...interesting...

Today is the Kentucky Derby...like the equivalence to the Masters for the golfers...this is the same for horse owners...I already have a double bet on the Oaks/Derby winner....and have 6 going in the last, as I hit the first...unfortunately, it was the favorite, so the prices aren't much...but, like the Pads, a win is a win...I will look closer, in the afternoon...my early choice is Hot Rod Charlie...

OK, I am all over the board on the Derby...the bets are some on the nose, some exactas...have 2 real long shots...and there you go...yet...still like Charlie the best...

According to Reuter...Prez B has a whopping 55% approval rating...did donny q ever have that type of rating?...you forevers know...help me out...

Just thinking a bit...the word 'socialism' meanders about the Repubs when they start trashing Prez B...but, isn't Kaiser Permanente like that for YOUR health care?...and I'll bet many of you are on it...stop it Horse...

The BEST album of the day...ah, many of youse won't like this choice....but, regardless of how you feel he was in real life, his music was sensational...'Thriller' by Michael Jackson...can you recall this first time you  saw him 'moon walk'?...
