Too Close For Comfort

I heard the sirens...the seemingly never ending Fire Trucks roaming the streets of a 'big city'...some call it CITY LIFE...as there are so many people living like this, in high rises here in Downtown San Diego.....this you already know from my blog...a restatement...I peer down on the hustle, bustle, and commotion of it all...from but 5 floors up...enough for moi...anyhoo, did see lots of the same about when I left the tele and headed for the bedroom...and then realized, via the web net... we had a shooting and the chaos that comes with...right down in the Gaslamp...right across from Marsh's work office...and where we lived for 5ish years...1 dead and 4 wounded, or hurt...and the killer in custody...listen, kids, that is way TOO CLOSE FOR COMFORT!...have no details yet...but this shit is happening everywhere!...everywhere...

Somehow, have to move on from the story...the lead one...

At first I thought that the Johnson & Johnson Covid vaccine had a minute (miNOOT) problem with it's reliability...after hearing more and more...deaths involved...scary blood clots...it should be shelved until further testing...seems to be more than isolated...

After a horrible series in SD, getting humiliated by the Brew Crew...somehow, the mighty Padres regrouped in their first game of the series in LaLa Land...and won game ONE!...certainly surprised the Horse...a key play in the game, was the DP that the defense made that squelched a Bum rally...started by Cronenworth...and this came out of the Dodger's Manager Roberts mouth...'he is growing on me as one of the elite players'...class act and statement...maybe I don't hate all the Bums...

You paid too much in tax this past year, and are getting a refund?...sounds like 'music to my ears'...or, in donny q's case, did you pay any tax at all?...I digress...word out is that the check is being held up...so, don't panic...it will get there, or here...or everywhere...in time...maybe that should read, here, there and everywhere...the Beatles...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
