Earth Day


I guess we are talking the atmosphere, right?...as we are colliding with natural earth habitat and technology...something like that...EARTH DAY...as the World did it's own version of modernization...built this, built that, dug this, invented this, let out pollutants in the air we breathe, got here and there faster, using gasoline...and on and on...destruction to the Earth via mankind...intelligence gone rampant...who decides what is to be accepted?...each country fights for survival, and does whatever...or so it seems...finally, Prez B is calling for a meeting with the World leaders on this topic...say what you want about politics, but this step is absolutely needed...warranted...and makes no difference what type of government that country has...if you, they, or anyone, doesn't believe in climate change...it's time to rethink your stance...and the World is the culprit behind it...Horse out...

Abysmal showing by the mighty Padres in the hosting of the Milwaukee Brewers...got swept...couldn't hit...especially in prime time...and now...gulp...head on up to LaLa Land to try on the Bums for size...gosh, I hate saying this, but we looked like we always have...not very good...with all the pre-season hype, this is a bad feeling for all of us...just guessing now...but, perhaps, the constant changing of the lineup has something to do with it...set it and forget it...

In the aftermath of the Chauvin trial...the next set has to do with the 3 cops who were standing right by him, as Chauvin killed George Floyd with the knee sleeper...what might their fate be?...can't imagine how long Chauvin, the former cop, can last in the normal prison...this whole thing, is unfathomable...did you see the video of the gal shot by the policeman, as she was attacking another?...in the foreground there was a guy shoving another woman...it looked chaotic...imagine, driving up to that as a cop...what is protocol?...regardless of any color of skin, what would YOU do?...Chief, what would YOU have done?...

The Futures were saying another mild day of losses...turned out to be a banger of a positive one...yesterday...there goes my theory...but, for sure, it does hold up most of the time...

The Horse had a very good day at the links...actually putted fine...made some big shots, and resembled a golfer...who was that masked man?...hmmm, Tonto never wore a mask...

The NBA...couple, maybe more, things...1.  The PDX Blazers have ways of getting close, but their D is horrific...and they can't close...I keep telling ya, this is a lot coaching...2.  LeBron James is becoming a spokesman for his community...he should, as he has many followers...thus, he must think through things before he talks, Tweets, or lets loose on social media...3.  The run of 30+ points per game by Curry came to an end...remarkable...4.  I have NEVER seen the likes of this...the resting of star players throughout the season as the clubs are doing now...maybe cause there are no fans in the stands?...

This collegiate transfer protocol...gosh, there is that word again...is running amok...read where 11 ladies put themselves on it from Syracuse...isn't that an indicator for 'evaluating' a coach?...gone is the idea, that when you sign on, you make a commitment...appears to be a very shady business...and one must coach for TODAY only...what future?...me no likea...

The bad...the worst...the dreadful....the excruciating...dire song of the day...'Hello Hello' by the Sopwith Camel...a psychedelic rock band of the 60's (duh) that had this 'hit'...of course it was on the 'Kama Sutra Records' label...Snooki had this as one of his favorites, until he realized it was just one 'Hello'...that he dug, by the infamous Lionel Ritchie...we all make mistakes...

Out of absolute boredom, I ventured on a pixel show that was JUST like the above description...perhaps, worse...possible?...The Masked Singer...a query, if you can get a crowd in to watch this garbage, why can't you get one in to watch the NBA?...at first, I thought that this must be from another country...please please please, if you dig this one...don't tell me...it will be our little (your little) secret...

OK, I'm gonna waste a few more words on that...most of the 'Masked' peops are the same dudes and dudettes that dominate the 'reality show' airwaves...they just travel from one to another...next!...

Kids, thank you so much for reading and following moi...I lurve doing this in the am...with hopes that it starts your day off right...with a bit of knowledge, or humor, or just what the Hell?...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
