Chasing The Dream

What is Nirvana?...not the rock band, silly...but the word itself...are we not seeking it on a daily, perhaps, lifetime basis?...'a state of perfect happiness'...is there such a thing?...some say it is much more complicated than just a feeling...that it surrounds you with countless items that invigorate and touch your soul....ah, what?...we are human, and not perfect...just when every little thing seems absolute, along comes another problem...nothing stays the same, right?...yes, some turn to religion and put the faith to a test...but, that too, has barricades set up...why are there so many of them?...types of religion?...if one says that they are perfect?...perfect for you?...OK...some say that what happens is all due to our own decisions in life...and have to endure whatever they were...

So...why bring this up Horse?...is there an answer?...yes, kids, there is...it is a temporary phenomenon in your life...that is fleeting and we must enjoy when it does happen...indeed...think about it...we buy something, make something, do something, that makes us happy...in search for Nirvana...we are there, but then, it goes away...and we do more...

How does this apply to sports?...ha ha...when you coach or play ( much easier than coaching)...and you WIN...the goal has been reached!...dang it all, but there is another game tomorrow that ends the Nirvana...or, if you lose, you have another chance for it...alrighty then, I have gone too far with this, but ya'll get my kick...

Prez B is set to address the Nation...to moi, this regime is so much more relaxing than the bloke from the past...ah, the last one...do NOT miss him one bit...

The mighty Padres have this annoying habit...they don't seem to play as hard against other teams, than they do the Bums...listen SD, they ALL count...and also, Mgr, put the Sheriff on a 5 inning (max) leash...you know better...or do you?...

Staying in beisbol...TG for instant replay...cuz blue makes a lot of errors...and the correction is wonderful...

The best album of the day...'Johnny Mathis Greatest Hits'...by him...I did not parameters on how I pick 'em...but this one is flawless...if you are just starting your vinyl collection, this is an absolute must...

The most important part of life?...sleep...if you listen to all the Docs, they keep telling us the value of it to our bodies...are the sleeping aides important?...I fall asleep once my head hits the pillow...let's NOT talk about snoring...

Gotta run, gonna seek Nirvana on the golf course....which in my case, is not possible at all, unless, I lessen my goals to about 79...which would make it so...well, Nirvana would be 75....
