Bravery

My lead yesterday, was the killing in the Gaslamp Quarter down here in SoCal...more info came out, about why and how it was stopped...the reason for it, is still not known to the public...the killer is 32 and lives down here, somewhere...in a high rise?...he was angry and the story goes...he was walking the 5th Avenue, bumping into people...looking for an altercation...with the intent to shoot whomever decided to chest up to him...

He shot and killed a valet from the Pendry...a hotel right directly across from where we first lived in SD...then calmly walked north and was surrounded by some guys...he shot them all...with what is called a 'ghost gun'...more on that later...then started walking away again...

A good samaritan, and others...BTW...let's call them brave people beyond belief....pursues the killer...here is where the story turns...a concerned guy, Justin Larrabee...we need to let out this HERO's name to the public...as he asked a person who was tailing the killer...'is this the guy?'....he was wearing a hoodie and was walking like he had done nothing...and Larrabee TACKLED the murderer...others then joined in to try to subdue the killer...he was out of control and the cops arrived and tasered him...

Justin, 'it was something I had to do'....amazing...and like I said yesterday, it happens everywhere...anywhere...let's go to the weapon...

A 'ghost gun'...it's like a compilation of parts, that one gets via the web net...put them together and not only is the final product done without registration, but NOBODY knows the person has it...just another example of where we are off base on possession of firearms...lord...

On a much much brighter note...the mighty Padres won in LaLa Land again...wooah...beat the guy who has 'owned' them...in the past...Kershaw...as three dingers were hit off him...one by Myers and 2 by Jr...interesting as on this date, his daddy Tatis Sr, hit 2 HR's off of Bum's pitching in LaLa back in '99...deja vu?...not really...but the final tally was 6-1...and things are looking up...

There are pundits and even bar owners...that take exception to the fact that LeBron James voices his opinion on things...that he should just 'shut up and dribble'...to those of you who say that, get a life...LeBron has followers, many of them...and he needs to be a spokesman...listen, he won't always be right, but in his eyes, he is...keep it going, my great hoopster...
