Tuesday Tidbits


Do you understand how this bill writing works in Congress?...as mysterious as the Stock Market, to moi...seems like there is a gaggle of coupling of items in 'em...so, to appease opposite parties to vote for a bill, they have to have some form of concession...I believe that is what is happening to the Covid Relief Bill...that the minimum wage part will either be stricken, or reduced...can't they just pass one or the other?...do YOU get it?...

For all of the hullaballoo, about the needn't get of the Covid vaccine by donny...it is reported that he and his latest wife got theirs in January...do as I say, and not as I do....was this before or after the Capitol Caper?...which makes no difference, but just out of curiosity...

I think I know the answer...but, if you get one shot of say, Moderna...and the 2nd one is unavailable...can you get another shot of say, Pfizer?...or the newbie, Johnson & Johnson?...are they that much different?...

Watched the kind of fun, Charlotte Hornets at the PDX Blazers last nite...the kid, LaMelo Ball, is far superior to his older bro...and will be a 'star' in this league...has the ability and the flair...but, oh my, his form on his outside shot is just like the brothers...did daddy teach 'em both that?...ugly...and did not like the path he took to the NBA....avoiding all school in the latter years...oh yea, Portland won it in a rout...hitting a bunch of 3 pointers...hate the way the game is played now...as you know...

We are into Netflix's 'Behind Her Eyes'...a Brit show that you MUST turn on the CC to understand what is being said...it's like a foreign language...that English...well, I guess it is, over the pond...and that is Foreign to moi...now, I can see why Prince Harry moved to the states...

At what point do adults act like adults?....30, 40, 50, 60, 70?...there is this dude, who shall be nameless...who was 'kicked' out of his long time foursome in our club...the leader of the group, determined that he spent too much time looking for the 'kicked out dude' 's balls...and it was throwing his game off...so he 'X' him out!!!...they had played together for like 5 years...and yes, they are older than 60...adults?...I dunno...we asked him to join us...

We are approaching the Big Dance...I guess...where the college hoops plays their way to the Natty....lord, I have no idea how they are gonna pick teams for this...with so many skipping games due to Covid and all...Gonzaga is the only unbeaten team in the country...and have handled everyone thus far...but, you stumble once, and you are out...big Q for this season...

Snooki's song of the day...'Sunshine Girl' by Parade...he was boasting that it was 67* at his humble obode in Salem, Orygun...take out the swim suit, dude...lather up your bod, and take in the rays...go in your garage and find your boogie board and hit the beach!...


Note to Beej...if we happen to buy a VW ahead of time, that we haven't given the Beamer back yet...could we park the rig in your 2nd stall?...just in case, I'm sure it won't happen...but, we will start looking soon...

trump should be happy he doesn't live in France...as their former Prez, was convicted of corruption...and is in house arrest for a year...with 2 years suspended...

We have had a lot of gun shooting around town lately...last nite no diff...down by the convention center...where we bike ride...egads...almost like the Wild West...in the past 3 months...Covid related?...I dunno...

It is a Tuesday, so that means...to the grocery store!...and yes, we feel a bit more safe (ah, not totally, see above paragraph) cuz of the completed 2 shots of Moderna...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
